Vikki’s Restaurant

I’ve lived near this restaurant for almost 10years and never bothered to try it. One hungry night, I ordered take out right from Unilocal.I got a burger and fries and onion rings. I wasn’t all that impressed. Perhaps the sit-​down experience will be better than ordering take out.

Always ordered from vikkies and there food DELICIOUSLY GOOD. Give you a great amount of food the prices are reasonable.

This place is a hit or miss… some things are good and worth trying like the burgers and some things are very bland. Every time you call to place an order for delivery they put you on hold for 20 mins.

Just ordered from this restaurant again. The weekend delivery guy is nice. The spaghetti is cold. Yuck. I spoke to the manager, and he rushed me off the phone. Never tip this place people. It’s a shame and the food is good.

After passing by this place a few thousand times I finally tried it & what a nice little hidden gem of a diner this is. What a great find.
Service is friendly & very attentive. Maria, the waitress, waited on me and she was nothing but a sweetheart. Very knowledgable to the menu & gave suggestions.
The food was not your typical bland diner food. The food is good. The menu is nothing fancy, kinda basic but delicious. There is a showcase full of desserts, which I did not try, but they looked amazing.
The ambiance is a quaint little diner with a dining room full of tables & your typical diner counter is around the corner from the tables.

I’m basing my five star review compared to other regular diners !
I can’t believe I’ve worked in this area for almost 7 years and this is the first time I stopped in, now I regret not coming here a lot sooner.
As soon as you walk in you feel like you actually walked into a family member’s dining room it has a very comfortable ambience to it, kind of like going to a diner in a old town. The beautiful and very clean golden wooden tables plus the golden wooden walls add a warm and comfy feel to the experience, kinda like «hey we’ve been waiting for you vinny «and Maria who seems to be the main waitress and hostess just makes you feel so welcomed.
As soon as we walked in she immediately greeted us with a smile and said «Hey guys come on in «and lead us to the counter top with the stools and handed us menu’s. She even took the time to help us decide what to get, so i asked her what she suggested and tokd her i was on a diet and didnt want to cheat too much so she pointed at the wraps and showed me the one that she likes which was the one that I ended up getting.
It was a grilled chicken with avocados arugula and bacon with a side of onion rings, so i cheated alittle but not that bad. While waiting for our food I was looking around and they had several delicious looking cakes in the glass showcase which she honestly did tell me that they do not bake in the restaurant but a local bakery makes it for them. Do yourself a favor and stop by for breakfast lunch or dinner or maybe just coffee and cake if you’re ever in the area, I will definitely be back a lot more often and maria actually said you better come back lol.

Came here on a Saturday night with my boyfriend and was seated within 5 minutes. The space is huge, and the seating is nice, with booths on the side and tables spread out along the middle of the place.
I ordered an eggplant panini with fries. It took awhile to come out, especially considering there wasn’t a lot of customers. The food was okay. I found that my eggplant was tough and a bit overcooked, but the fries were hot and delicious! The serving size was great too, well worth the money.

Good little neighborhood diner… Like the breakfast of bacon and eggs or eggs any style .I visit or get delivery about once a month and are satisfied but not wowed…

Went here with some friends. Didn’t really enjoy the food, Wish it was better. And a B inspection rating? Smh. I wont be coming back.

I ordered a sampler which was supposed to come with 3 pieces of buffalo chicken, 3spring rolls and 3 mozzarella stick with sauce for each item. My order came with 3 mozzarella sticks, 2 buffalo wings and some other things like make me think it was chicken (i refused to eat it) and one sauce (which would be for the spring rolls that didn’t come – go figure). I also ordered fries and a sandwich with egg, sausage and cheese. Those two things were good but I am very disappointed in the sampler as that was really what I ordered for myself (the other two things were for my friend who ordered with me).
This would have been a 2 star review but I gave an extra star since the food arrived on time, the eat24 app is very easy to use and the other two items that I ordered were good.

The fact that I’ve never had a Unilocal account and decided to create one to complain def says something.
I was curious to try this place how since I’ve heard good things and said there’s nothing to lose. Food came quick, great.
If I had the option to leave 0 stars, I would. First the food that came nice and quick wasn’t warm at all. Second, the French vanilla and cappuccino we ordered WAS AWFUL. Didn’t taste how it was suppose to and was very off and bitter. I called to complain about it and if we are able to get a new replacement one, you guys said yes and to expect it in a bit. IT NEVER CAME. We waited over an hour for it, never arrived. Later on in the day, I ended up getting very sick. Mind you this was the only food I had. Went to go to my doctors and see what was wrong, I get told that I contracted food poisoning :) thanks so much for everything. I know where I won’t be going back to. Such a disappointment.

I have eaten at Vikki s at least four times and it just dawned on me that I had never written a review… All 4 times I was satisfied, I think that they offer a great cheeseburger, their coleslaw is always fresh so are their pickles. The service I must say needs to be improved because all 4 times I went my waiter or waitress were actually not too attentive. No one asks if you re okay or if you are enjoying your meal, and all 4 times I did find it to be odd. Otherwise everything else worked out fine, and Yes I will eat at Vikki s again.

Great local diner with good food locally. I got the salmon sandwich (bagel all the way) and it was amazingly fresh tasting. You can’t beat their prices!

They cleaned up their act and got an A rating, but the food is still below par.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. After my delivery guy called me to tell me he couldnt even ring my bell and that i had to come all the way outside i called the establishment to see if this was protocol. The hostess was a very nasty lady. She not only refused to let me speak to the manager but screamed t me about me complaining to my friend while she told me I was on hold. I was so irate and disgusted with the service more so from her then the driver I decided to bring the food back. Once I got there I told her I want a refund, handed her the unopened (still hot food) and asked for the manager … she took my bag, looked at another female server and told her yeah this is the girl from 100^th street that just hung up… (PS I live no where near 100^th street, so she clearly didn’t know what she was talking about.) She walked over to the takeout counter and put my returned food on the counter and said to the gentleman behind the counter, «shes from 100^th street, she actually came all the way here»
The poor guy, Ivan, was a sweetheart, but the damage of the nasty hostess had already been done. He said he would have to do my refund later. I anticipate the refund notification by the end of the day.
To have such a nasty and unfriendly hostess is definitely very damaging to a restaurant business and I will make it my business that I let all my friends and family know that this establishment is DEFINITELY NOT WORTHY OF OUR BUSINESS.

I’ve been ordering from this diner for a couple years. It was really good but recently the standards have slipped.
I always order the same thing. Tonight was no exception. A burger, medium with mushrooms and bacon. I waited an hour and a half for my food despite the diner being a 10 minute drive away. The food was cold and everything was well done and burnt! There were hardly any mushrooms yet I paid extra for them! This isn’t the first time the food has been subpar but tonight was unacceptable.
I tried calling to speak to the manager but they decided to close shop early.
The food was disgusting. I’m trying hard not to vomit just thinking about it.
They just lost a customer. I wouldn’t eat from here again if my life depended on it.
Major fail Vicki’s.

My dad and I came to Vikki’s for lunch today for the first time in YEARS, and it was even better than expected. The last experience my family had there wasn’t good, so we never ended up going back, but today that was the complete opposite.
We both got french onion soups to start. The soups was great and had a lot of flavor.
For lunch I got the warm chicken iceberg wedge salad with oil and vinegar dressing, and my dad had the turkey club that came with a side of fries.
The portions of food are pretty big, and the prices go along with it. If you want a good quality diner food, just expect to pay the price for good food. For the two soups and two lunches the bill was $ 33.
I’ll choose Vikki’s as my go to diner from now on, great food and great service as well.

Vikki’s food really is very ordinary, and the décor is old-​ordinary, but I find that the service is very sweet and helpful. Vikki’s is a nice place to hang with a group of friends or family, to relax and talk a long while. Nobody pressures you and they’ll pleasantly keep refilling your coffee.

I generally am not a fan of diners and I must admit I’ve only had breakfasts here but I must say the place is spotless and I have always felt that the service could not be more attentive or professional.
I can’t vouch for the whole menu but the breakfasts have hit the spot.

My regular order out diner spot very close to home! It’s very pricey though, but the delivery is quick. The food comes nice and hot!
Their breakfast is really delicious: I suggest you try the waffle deluxe or the eggs Benedict.
For Lunch:
Try their Philly cheesesteaks or burgers! Vikkis went under new management and their burgers have gotten wayyyy better. Almost bistro-​esque right on avenue N and Ralph so that’s a good deal.
They get three stars because everything else isn’t great to me. I still recommend them though!
