Fantastic place. Great location between Denver n boulder. Nice enough for professional meetings etc. Now just boring loud brewpubs. Anyplace around here like it? Your help would be appreciated.

Great happy hour! Went with co-workers 2 Friday’s ago, waitress was very nice, drinks were inexpensive and yummy. All the App’s were a great price and delicious. Great atmosphere. I went back on a Wednesday night thinking Happy Hour was over at 6:30…Well, I was wrong, and the hostess was sure to let me know! Not a nice young lady. But since the waitress from my previous trip to Bloom was great, so I will be back, and I will be sure to get there before 6!

A very surprisingly(given the mall location) place with nice service. I love the happy hour — the sangria is amazing. Their food is usually great and reasonably priced. I have liked their steaks, their pasta with chicken in it, practically all their ravioli and soup. However the best part is definitely the dessert. You must try the bars of sin — a hazelnut dough, covered in chocolate mousse and encased in chocolate, served with Bailey’s ice cream and several delicious sauces. That’s definitely THE reason to stop by.

This was a fun place to stumble across. Though we came at probably one of the quietest times, the food was awesome and so inexpensive for what they give you. The people there are friendly and they have a very beautiful bar. Atmosphere is cozy and I love their wine choices.

Tasty — But Beware of Disappearing Servers I stopped by Bloom before seeing Cirque at First Bank Center and t-o-t-a-l-l-y demolished a burger there. Not sure if it was because I was ravenously hungry(or because it was dangerously tasty), but it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a very long time. And the fries were also very good, waving to me from the plate as if to say, «Life has been good to us, and now we’ll be good to you. Bottoms up!» I wish the service had kept pace with the food. Our server was clearly a fan of the disappearing act, being there one moment and then vanishing for a very, very long time as we scratched our heads — clearly impressed with her magical skill but also in sincere need of, um, service. So that was pretty annoying. Especially toward the end when we wanted to pay our bill and had clearly been done for many minutes. I suppose it could have been a busy night, thus explaining her mysterious flight, but we were nearly late for Cirque, which is a crime punishable by acrobats if I’m not mistaken. Did I mention how delicious my burger was?

I am in the area for work for 7 weeks and this was our first stop in what will be a long journey of eating out in restaurants. Everything was fabulous including our VERY friendly and attentive waiter, wine list, and my delicious meal. I got the salmon with white polenta and would have licked the plate if it was acceptable. And for those of you who are wondering, it’s not. I will definitely be back.

I honestly don’t know how anyone can give this restaurant any less than a 5-star rating. Been here a few times, but tonight was the first time I’d been in over 3 years and I have to say — it is even better than I remember. Among our party, we ordered the warm brie appetizer, entrees including the salmon, scallops, and lamb, and two desserts including the bars of sin and vanilla crème brûlée. Brie — If you like brie, you can’t go wrong with this one. Salmon — Served with a sweet honey-like sauce and slices of apple and greens on top of polenta — this was the first time in my life I have EVER enjoyed polenta, and I must say, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed it. Scallops — Unique, served with«forbidden ride» — not sure what this is exactly, don’t think it’s rice, but it is ADDICTING! Lamb — served medium rare(chef’s recommendation). The person in our party who ordered this doesn’t ordinarily like any type of meat done medium rare, but she raved about this dish. Bars of sin — ORDERTHIS!!! Tastes just like the Italian«baci» candy wrapped in the silver and blue wrappers. Vanilla crème brûlée — Your typical brulee, but made even more delicious because of the vanilla flavor. Seriously… this place was NOT filled on a Saturday night and there is no way this would ever be the case if it were in Hawaii! So, Bloom Chef — Consider opening a location in Honolulu and you will make a killing!!! Da locals would spend beeeeeeeg bucks for your cuisine!

I love grilled artichoke! Bloom’s grilled artichoke appetizer is no exception(pic uploaded), though $ 12 for the veggie is wee steep.

So Ive lived in Phoenix off and on for 8 years and not once have I ever stepped into Bloom. I’m now in San Antonio where they don’t exist. Went to Vegas and a fellow Bridesmaid raved about a Black & Blue Martini and the Lobster salad that they had. So in April a promise was made that when I arrived in CO for the wedding, 1st stop was Bloom for this raved about meal. Sure enough the bridesmaid picked me up from the airport in August and straight to Bloom we went. Upon arrival we found that the Black & Blue Martini was now a Black & Blue Mojito on the menu, however, our request could be accommodated. It’s a vodka that’s muddled with something that turns it black and accompanied with blue cheese stuffed olives. Now I like a good martini but this was«blackout» strong. It makes a dirty martini seem like sweet tea. As for the salad. I ordered with sheer excitement beaming from my face and was told that they were out. WTF? That was pretty much my true reaction. I was damn near about to throw a fit! I waited FOUR months for this deliciousness and they’re «out»? Unacceptable! The server said she would check to see if they got any in. Any«what» i dont know? Im assuming their salads aren’t prepackaged so Im under the impression a key ingredient was missing. Well lo and behold she returns and said they received a shipment this morning. Damn right! The salad was probably the most amazing salad I have ever had. So many different textures and subtle flavors. It was well worth the wait and returning repeatedly. One heads up though. For 2 martinis, 2 salads and 1 sorbet the bill was $ 80. so it’s pricey for a lunch.

I used to live around the Flat iron crossing mall, so Bloom is a nice place to dine at during the week night if you want non-bar chain food. They have a good selection in their menu. I would recommend their braised short ribs or lamb. They have good mash potatoes. Oh save some room for desserts! I think their desserts are better than their entres.

I found this place by accident but I was happy to find it. The Scallops«forbidden» rice is so good. It was perfectly seared and tender. The tuna tartare is nice and spicy. The presentation is so artist and beautiful and they have a great flight of wine too.

I actually walked by Bloom the day before before destining here instead of Gordon Biersh. I’ll stand by my preference to somewhere local and a little different than the places I can go anywhere. Arnold Palmer, some raw tuna thing, some bread, and some NCAA basket ball at the bar. Nice atmosphere, albeit I think I was the youngest patron by about 10 years, interesting food, but somewhere to sit and relax a bit. It wasn’t a cheap lunch, but it was a light one, and a pretty casual one. Maybe a better place for drinks or happy hour… a little upscale and it might have pretty interesting crowd.

I was talked out of to-go orders and room service(a good thing!) and happily joined a colleague for dinner at Bloom. What a treat this was! The décor was modern and refined… beautiful. This was also reflected on their menu. To start, we had the Asian Chopped Salad which has a pleasant and light sesame dressing with a hint of ginger. For our entrees, my friend had the Ahi Tuna atop a savory soy brown rice and vegetable mix. I opted for the Rack of Lamb(yay for a perfect medium rare!) with organic potatoes and sauteed spinach and asparagus. The demi glacé was an excellent compliment to all and delicious. Our meal ended with their sorbet du jour — grapefruit and champagne and their Chocoholic(Death-By-Chocolate) cake! We enjoyed the service. There was a slight order mistake — 2 salads instead of 1 salad and the Brie appetizers, but with food this good, it was easy to overlook. I’ve posted photos to go with this review — enjoy! I look forward to coming back and trying other menu items!

WINEFLIGHTS. I love them. And Bloom has them. And they are half price at happy hour. Seriously, you can get a flight of really good wine for about three bucks. Why am I not here every night? The appetizers were yummy too. They’re more unique than those that most restaurants offer and seem healthier too. We ordered calamari which came with a bunch of mixed greens that made it much more appealing to me, and the warm Brie and grilled artichoke appetizers were incredible. The service was perfectly unobtrusive but attentive. They even let us borrow some pens and extra napkins for a little game we just had to play(yeah, we were THAT table). My only complaint was that there was just so much STUFF on the table that it was a little awkward. But really, that’s not exactly a problem at all when I get $ 3 wine. I think I’ll be here weekly.

YUM! Stopped in for a quick bite with Amanda T. This was my first visit and I was very delighted! First, a prego person always is starving so I appreciate how quick the waitress bought me some bread ;) Second, I know I enjoyed it and will be back. Another thing with prego’s… we have issues remembering. I know Amanda T. got a roasted pepper soup with a grilled cheese that was to die for! We were sketch on the soup at first but out waitress sold us on it and wow! But yes I know I had a side salad that had a great dressing… oh bother… what did I have. Anyways… their food is great! Service is amazing!

The grilled artichoke is something I seem to crave constantly! So yummy! I’ve been there for both lunch and dinner, and lunch is usally good but dinner is a little bit better for the money. Everything I’ve eaten has been good and the service has always been good. Definately a win!

I’ve had lunches and dinners at Bloom over the years, but it had been awhile so it was time to go back. Three friends and I made a reservation for dinner on a Friday night so we could check it out again. It was a good thing we had reservations, because there was a wait for tables when we got there. The hostesses are very helpful and friendly and they give you a good first impression of the restaurant. The atmosphere was busy and trendy but still comfortable. We sat in a booth with a seat that sagged enough that I had to sit on my purse. I would recommend a table instead. At that point, everything went downhill a bit. Our server was rarely around, and it took us about 20 minutes to finally have drinks from the bar. One person at our table had a drink that was supposed to have foam on the top but it had all disappeared by the time we got our drinks, so it had been sitting at the bar for awhile. It took the waitress awhile to get our orders, too. We asked for separate checks and the waitress told us it wouldn’t be an issue. I ordered two appetizers for my meal and everyone else ordered an entrée. The food came out quickly, delivered by three different people about a minute apart from each other. Mine came first, and everyone immediately reacted negatively, thinking that mine had come as appetizers. But then a minute later some more food showed up. I ordered the Warm Maine Lobster appetizer(it’s a salad even though the description doesn’t mention it) and the Raw Big Eye Tuna appetizer. The salad would have been perfect without the fried crunchy things loaded on top of it, but even with them it was close to perfect. I would definitely get that dish again. But the tuna was a bit odd. It was sliced thin and placed over guacamole that had squares of jicama in it, I think. The tuna itself was fresh and good so I ate that, but I left the weird guacamole alone. One friend had the Pan Seared Salmon. She said it was good though the polenta was a bit flavorless. A second friend had the Chicken & Spinach Tortelli while my third friend had the Rib Eye. Both of them said their food was too salty. We wanted to order another round of drinks but the waitress was nowhere to be found. We sat with our dirty plates for quite awhile. One other server grabbed one plate on his way by, which was odd because the table was covered in dirty plates and empty glasses. Our waitress finally came by to ask if we wanted any coffee, which we didn’t. She cleared our table and left, and then we discussed dessert. She hadn’t offered, but no one felt like dessert. The check was dropped in the middle of the table without a word and our waitress ran off to another table. Everything was all on one check so we flagged her down. She apologized and quickly returned with separate checks. We paid with cash and credit cards and she was quick to pick them up. She only put one pen in one of the books when she returned credit card receipts, so we all shared it. We left, and the hostesses were just as pleasant as they said goodbye to us. This seems to be a fairly typical experience at Bloom, for me. The food is hit or miss and the service is lacking. But it’s a pretty cool space with a good bar, so if you get something that probably wouldn’t be overly salty(like salads) then you can have a pretty decent time.

I was working in Westminster when Bloom(and the entire mall/Interlocken area) was being built, and remember being so happy to have a local place to get good wine and brie. I was back in town last week for work and went here for lunch with our new CEO. They still have the flights of wine, which I love because you can learn about and try different wines without becoming intoxicated at lunch :) They still have some great chopped salads(so nice when they chop it for you so you can enjoy lunch without worrying about tackling lettuce rafts). I had a caesar and the garlic chicken pasta dish without the chicken. This was the ONLY«vegetarian» option on the menu, which sucked for two reasons: the brie platter was gone, and I had to make a special request which I don’t like to do ’cause the kitchen hates it. Lots of brocolli, a nice broth, and HOMEMADE pasta made this dish so yummy I ate more than I should have. So it turned out alright after all. Bread was served as well, it was fresh, butter was softened. Nice planning, we ate early where normally the butter is a little yellow hockey puck that flies off the plate. Service was very good, salad was $ 9 and lunch pasta was $ 14. Good quality meal, good service, and the higher prices I remember(but worth it considering the other items). Way to keep it reliable, Bloom! 1⁄20 Edit– stopped in for a glass of wine and brie platter before heading to the hotel– they have The Prisoner zin by the glass! Yay, had a good visit, wish the lighting were better in here though, can hardly read the menu.

Its a chic restaurant in the Flatiron malls. The interiors are crisp and clean and the wait staff is polished. Their wine selection is fair and they do have some good wines on the menu that you can pair with your food. Now the food. Its American food fused with European and Asian influences. Sometimes fusion is a good thing sometimes its not. In Bloom’s case it works. I had the Thai style lamb chops and they were done perfectly. The kaffir lime in the dish made an instant impact. My hubby had the Salmon and we shared an appetizer of crispy calamari. I also went there with a bunch of girl friends and we all had a great time. This time around we did sea food and vegetarian and it was all so yummy. If this place were located somewhere besides a mall, it would be a major hit for work lunches.

This place is really starting to grow on me. The wine lists rocks! and I am now completely hooked on the Flights especially the Sommelier’s Big Red selection. We ate here on Valentines day and had a great experience so we went back this week and had a great time. The soup was an interesting twist on Pea Soup with Bacon… they added mint? Was actually a nice fusion of tastes. I had the Calamari it comes mixed with greens and a light dressing the batter is a light tempura so the taste really comes through. The sourdough bread is excellent and the dessert selection is great as well. My choice for dessert this week was the Bourbon flight 3 great choices of single barrel bourbons. This is a great place for a quiet dinner or a group. Put it on your list its worth a try.
