I walked past this store this past weekend and then I walk to and went inside the store to look around and it has such cute things. The man walking the shore told me it has been there for 5 years, he is the owner and everything they sell is locally main.

This place is positively wonderful! I promise you will not walk out empty handed. I’m lucky I walked out with any money left in my bank account. Thankfully, I came with my mom, who is my voice reason and stopped me from buying buffalo baby clothes, for the baby I don’t have. Buffalo Adore has everything buffalo! You will love and want everything, you walk by. The store is also absolutely charming. You are welcomed by the protective but very sweet shop dog, Marty McFly. The store owner, Andrea introduced herself and is so helpful! It makes me so happy to see young professionals succeed in Buffalo. Especially when they’re passionate and love being in Buffalo! The entire store is filled with only local artists. It features paintings, clothing, wooden cut outs, kitchen and bar supplies, jewelry, etc. A few items that stood out to me was the Hamburg Beach glass art pictures! Those were so unique and beautiful. Again, I loved the baby clothes but I’ll hold off :). I bought a Lafayette illustration drawing. We lived there the first year it opened and it’s one of my favorite pictures, I’ve seen done of the Lafayette. I couldn’t pass it up! I have been talking about this darling shop, since I’ve been in! I will absolutely be a frequent shopper. I’m also very excited that they will be opening a second location, downtown on Main Street! Opening day is September 1st!

Buffalo Adore has to be one of my new favorite places(thanks Dan K for mentioning in a local gift Talk thread!) that I have had the pleasure to shop at. Between the selection, the owners, and service, I can highly recommend that you stop there for yourself or others. I was looking for some interesting Buffalo items to send in a «hometown» gift exchange to a US West coast expat living in Western Australia. I only had a few things to work with regarding this person’s interests, but Buffalo Adore had plenty of unique and quality things that fit the bill. I love that just about everything in the store is made/sourced from local makers and artisans and their name/info is included. Things range in price from a couple of dollars to more expensive and specially made items. If someone likes art, glassware, clothing, bags, jewelry, kitchenware, a little humor, sports, paper goods, or more, you will find it here. It seems they carefully pick things so not only is there a good variety to choose from for any price point, but nothing is «junky» or looks cheap. The owners Andrea and Eric were super welcoming and friendly. They were fun to talk to and came up with some neat ideas when I mentioned some of my giftee’s interests. I really wanted a Buffalo cookie cutter which they were out of, but were supposed to get some in. In the course of my browsing, they actually were dropped off by the mail and they got me one out right away from the box. My giftee loved everything, especially the wood burnished spoons with Buffalo/artistic designs in them. I also got a Buffalo nickle hockey puck bottle opener, a really nice tote bag, the aforementioned cookie cutter, and a locally printed card. She said that«Buffalo is my new favorite town after this gift!» I saw some art I really liked for me, as well as other items that I am keeping on a mental checklist for future gifts. Parking was easy right on the street and Marty the pup will make you feel welcome! Make sure to check out Buffalo Adore’s second location that should be opening September 1st in the Market Arcade building near Shea’s!

I had been meaning to stop into Buffalo Adore for a bit since it is right around the corner from me and finally got my chance to when I went looking for a Valentine’s day gift. This ended up being a great place to go, as there are hundreds of things to choose from, and the best part is they are all sourced from local artists. They have jewelry, kitchen knickknacks, home décor, clothing… all with a Buffalo twist. Definitely going to save me some trips to Elmwood shops for gifts in the future. If you need a gift and want to show some Buffalove you really can’t go wrong with this place.
