First time trying out their burritos! Very Delicious, and the green salsa is amazing! Sad we just discovered this place after years of working in Burbank. But we will be returning for sure! Tasty burritos at a great price!!!

Best burgers around. Only giving 4 stars cuz sometimes the waits a little long and doesn’t feel like there’s any A/C inside

Just left after having the nastiest mushy«steak» burrito. $ 9 for crap I couldn’t even finish and I’ll never be back.

This is hands down my favorite place for breakfast burritos! The food is fresh and high quality, the flavor a are outstanding, and the service is fast and friendly. Don’t waste an hour waiting for cash only Corner Cottage burritos– they’re not as good, stop serving at 11am and there isn’t any place comfy to sit and eat them. Norms serves these all day, has a drive they option and some big comfy booths. The best!

This place has the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. I eat breakfast burritos anywhere I go, and I found this place a week ago when I was at the pharmacy across the street. Since then I’ve been here several times throughout the week. I want to eat a burrito every day

I have to say the service here has done better. As well they have gotten even more busy then before. Since a few bad experiences that sparked the poor review. Things have turned around. Kind of wish the food had a bit more spark and thought put in it. It’s not bad but at the same time in never changes.

Maybe one of the worst breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. We ordered 10 – 12 burritos this past weekend to feed a group of people helping us with an event. The burritos looked massive and I was excited to tear into mine. The first bite I took was mostly potato. No biggie, that happens from time to time. Half way through the burrito and I’m still just getting mostly potato. All of our burritos were basically 80% potato, maybe one egg, a strip of bacon and some cheese. The salsa as others have pointed out is just chopped jalapeños. Wasn’t terribly spicy to me and lacked flavor. Sort of reminds me of Corner Cottage’s salsa… served in the same tiny cup that requires some maneuvering as to not get the entire contents of the cup to fall out on your first bite. Really disappointing and a complete waste of money. Yes, the burritos are huge, but they cheat you by filling it with mostly potatoes. I’d recommend going somewhere else for your breakfast burrito needs.

I’m a fan but… last time I got a breakfast sandwich there was a really long piece of black hair:/

Update time! Since my last review of this Burbank staple the burritos are still great, the burgers are great and the service, well the service… is fantastic! Let’s start with the food: Ordered a sausage and egg burrito at the drive thru and waited about 7 minutes or so(word of advice, call in your order in advance because it does get busy and the chefs make everything fresh.) The sausage was flavorful, the egg to potato ratio was nicely balanced unlike certain cottages in Burbank, oh and it’s filling as hell. Well worth the $ 5.59 spent on it. Now to the service: There are usually two girls taking orders during the week and a couple of guys in the mix during the weekends because it gets busier than a Planned Parenthood office in the ghetto. The guys are cool and all, but the girls are friendly and easier on the eyes. One in particular stands out because whenever I go there I see her hustling her ass off and never getting her Jordan’s dirty. Great place.

Definitely a place to come for amazing breakfast. My favorite thing to get is the bacon burrito. For a reasonable price you get a meal that will satisfy you! Although it’s a small place and limited on seating. It’s definitely worth it to come!

Being local to Burbank I’ve driven past this place a thousand times but this time I finally stopped in. I’m from Chicago and this place reminds me of what we call a hot dog stand. My friend and I decided to have some lunch and split a breakfast burrito with sausage and a cheeseburger with bacon and the works. Breakfast burrito had many reviews on Unilocal that said it was amazing however we found it to be a bit heavy on the potatoes and really didn’t have a lot of taste. The burger was fantastic right off the fryer and a lot of flavor, big but not gargantuan. Super friendly staff, clean place as well with parking behind the restaurant. I definitely would come back. I’d be interested to try the burrito again hold the potatoes. The outdoor front patio is a great place to sit on a nice day considering its California we could sit out there any time. Little piece of history is what this place reminds me of and it’s definitely worth checking out.

This is usually my go-to place when I’m too lazy to take lunch to work, but my feelings are ambivalent. My experiences here have ranged from bad to tolerable. The only thing I really like from here is the teriyaki bowl, so when I’m in the mood for Chinese takeout, I’ll get that since there are no other options. The tuna salad is nasty, so no. They charge $ 8 for a bunch of stale lettuce and a scoop of dry tuna; the only thing worth the trouble in that salad are the tomatoes and avocado, but I can make a better salad with more nutrients and cheaper from home, so no. I also like their grilled cheese sandwich to which I add my own tuna, since they don’t sell tuna melts, only regular tuna sandwiches which I can just bring from home, and cheaper. The first time I ever called to place an order, I really got a craving for fish salad which I saw on their online menu. Well, turns out they don’t have it; the guy sounded like he had never heard of such a thing. That was disappointing, and it was my first interaction with them. Everything else that followed wasn’t too spectacular. Based on these experiences I’m not very keen on trying other items, but I’m still willing to.

Ok, returned a few times because i just love the food here and i can say the service has improved. They are very busy and as for the phone orders, you just have to keep calling, they’ll get to you once they can. This place is always busy. But well worth the wait.

I was getting some new tires installed nearby and came across Norm’s while walking around. I saw the great reviews on Unilocal for their BREAKFASTBURRITO and stopped in. I got the one with bacon and thought it was A-OK. Not a destination but a good option when I’m in the area.

I would have given this Breakfast Burrito a 4 star this morning when I ate my burrito but let’s just say right now as I’m writing the review my stomach pain is going to downgrade my rating to a 3. Maybe it would be best to describe my decision with a pros and cons list? pro: 1. nice grill marks on the tortilla 2. good size(big) 3. jalepeno salsa has a pretty good flavor. 4. They didn’t charge me for 2nd meat option. $ 5.44 for bacon and sausage 5. potatoes have a good flavor cons: 1. To many potatoes. Basically tastes like buttery potatoes most of the way through. 2. Wish there was more of that bacon that they didn’t charge me for 3. That salsa is basically jalapeños and has created a «firestorm» situation a few hours later. 4. They don’t put the delicious but deadly salsa in the burrito but make you do the dirty work 5. The wait was kinda long but not as bad as corner cottage. 6. They served people who came after me before me. So… it’s still good. I would do it again because I love breakfast burritos.

Still in love with their breakfast burritos. to the point where I will purposely schedule a stop in Burbank to stop by and get some! Then I’m that person eating it on the plane… But it doesn’t matter because it is that good!

Glad I heard about this place, my job does business mostly on the east coast, so my schedule is from 5am-2pm with a lunch at 9:30am…which leaves me with limited options since everything is basically still closed. :/ A co worker recommended I try the breakfast burrito. I came and they have a large variety of foods on the menu. I love that you can actually see the cook making your food FROMSCRATCH. Since then I’ve stopped by multiple times and tried their burgers, club sandwich, and zucchini fries. Everything is delicious and tastes fresh(for fast food) and is fairly cheap compared to fast food restaurants which are a bit pricier and NOT at all fresh. The breakfast plates also look very appetizing, definitely better than ihop or Denny’s. The staff is very welcoming as well which is always a plus :)

I’m constantly torn between which breakfast burrito is better. Norms or Corner Cottage. There are definitely days that I prefer Norms, and it’s way more convenient to just stroll in and be eating a burrito in 10 minutes. Yep, no hour long waits here. That being said, I’ve tried the other food, and it’s very unimpeessive. But you know what, the breakfast burritos, great service, and convenience of ordering makes this place a solid 4 star diner.

Burbank locals have known about this place for years. On weekends you will see throngs of people walking, biking, drive-thruing, and congregating here for delicious breakfast and arguably the best breakfast burrito in the 626⁄818. Wait times can get upwards of ½ an hour so plan on calling ahead. The chorizo burrito with pico de gallo is perfection here. Cooked like your abuelita who loves you would. Savory contrast between rich chorizo, sharp onion, perfect potato, eggs and cheese layered in, with cilantro and spice. Throw in a dab of their green salsa and you have a perfect filling weekend morning meal.
