Smart & Final

This is a nicer than normal Smart and Final. The produce section is way larger and fresher than usual. The store is clean and the clerks were very friendly. I normally go to the one in Oxnard and this one is way better. They have much more selection than I’m used to at Smart and Final.

I’m a local business owner and today I went to buy thermal printing paper for my business and they were out of stock. A great customer service representative named Diana came and checked the inventory for me they were out of stock. This amazing Manager gave me two thermal printing rolls from their own cash register. I was shocked!!! I will always continue to buy all my business supplies at this location. Thanks for you great Custer service

The store actually looked nice, too bad because I will never go there again. I needed to pay a bill online and for some ridiculous reason they would only accept MasterCard, I have a Visa. So, I stopped in to Smart & Final, in Camarillo, and purchased 2 pre-​paid MasterCard’s, so I could pay my online bill. Later that evening I tried to use the two cards but they did not work. I went back to Smart & Final and the Assistant Manager was called and she proceeded to tell me that I had not purchased the cards at this store. She seemed unconcerned about the fact that I had the receipt for them. At this point I asked to speak to the store manager so she went back to get him. The two of them came back out and the manager, with a smirk on his face like I was trying to put something over on him, said he would not refund my money or even contact the card company to straighten things out.
I left there completely shocked. I had never been treated this badly by a merchant in my life. I went home and contacted the card company myself. They made me fill out a form and send it to them with a copy of my receipt and 24 hours later my funds were available.
Thinking back I remember the Assistant pointing to the cards and saying that the ones they sold didn’t look like these and her boss smiled and nodded at her.
Unbelievable!

It is a very large clean store with ample product they are willing to help find what you need and if they do not have it they will call other stores or order it for you.

Is it just me or does every grocery store that comes in this location always smell horrible??? It has this nasty old food smell to it. I remember when it was tresierras market and it just smelt like the butchers dept… idk…but this store is great when it comes to bulk buys! I love to buy the sweedish fish here for my dad… they come in a huge package. I’m a fan :).

I love Smart & Final. When ever I’m in a rush and in a pinch, this is the spot to pick up last minute supplies in bulk for a party or gathering you’re going to throw.
The couple of times I’ve come here, I just pick up what I need and am out the door on my way in less than 20 minutes. The store is really clean and it’s very easy to find what I need without having to hassle an employee.
This used to be the old «Tres Sierras» store where I loved picking up burritos and their fresh made juices. *sigh Alas I digress and quite happy that Smart & Final has come to town.

It’s no different than any other smart and final, but when I do need something in bulk, it’s faster than driving to Oxnard to hit the Costco. Not as much selection, but also not bad either. I wish they had Kraft singles. Overall, I really don’t think you save that much.

I love Smart & Final. It is like Costco but not so obnoxiously large. It is clean and uncrowded and always has everything I went in for. I also like that you can get any size of disposable serving ware that you could possibly need.

This location just opened a couple of weeks ago, it’s so nice to finally have one in Camarillo, the store is clean, new, and nicely stocked, and the service top notch! The produce section was a nice surprise, and for holiday baking the baking isle is a great convenience.
