Ugh this place is terrible. I ordered the kiddie sized chocolate mousse icecream. The menu board said a kiddie size was $ 2.85 and the cashier demanded $ 3.00. She didn’t have a register or anything and didn’t even specify if the price difference was because of tax. If you are miserable at your job, maybe you should quit. So I finally get my icecream, after 5 minutes of her trying to scoop it out of the container. I look down at my cup and I barely have any icecream AND it looks like chocolate soup. The icecream tasted good but Christina’s icecream in Inman Sq has the same flavor and it is delicious and not soupy. You can get a small chocolate icecream on a SUGARCONE for $ 2.90. Never coming back to Moos Moos. The service is god awful and the product is terrible. The end.

Public service announcement: this place serves CHRISTINA’S ICECREAM! I happened to witness a delivery today and immediately went and enjoyed a delicious, generous serving of coconut butterfinger. The flavor selection is much smaller than Christina’s but includes favorites like burnt sugar, coffee oreo, coconut almond chip, etc. Highly satisfying and fairly affordable($ 4 for a small — which was quite large) by Boston standards.

It’s 95 degrees. Kendall Sq is full of people running, kayaking, biking, and enjoying a sunny Sunday. The closest ice cream place, Moo Moo’s, is closed. Major disappointment.

I’ve been to Moo Moo’s a handful of times, and have to admit that it leaves a lot to be desired. The hours seem sporadic, and sometimes there are 3 employees in that tiny booth(not doing much– I’ve never seen it busy enough to warrant that many people). Somehow, even when they have more than one person working, service is extremely slow. I don’t want to rag on the employees, because they’re nice, but it should take less than 3 minutes to complete one order. On top of that, the frozen yogurt machine has been broken for more than a couple weeks. The sign still advertizes it, though. And finally, prices seem reasonable enough until you start adding toppings. At .75 cents each, it adds up quickly. And the frozen yogurt isn’t available in kiddy size(not sure why that is), so you start at a higher base price. If I go here, it’s because there are no other options as close by. Update 7÷2÷14: Moo Moo’s Frozen Yogurt still has no working frozen yogurt machine. But get this, they now offer milkshakes… for $ 7.50! You MUST be joking with these prices! I’m not a cheapskate, but I’m also not an idiot. Update 7÷22÷14: The froyo machine is working again! Praise the lord, I never thought the day would come.

Had a small coconut almond something or other here– really, really good! Service was very slow though. I’ll go back again once it’s a bit warmer.
