Cardan Mortgage

Carlo Ganjeh Cardan Mortgage, was the loan officer, I’m the seller of the property and he was a buyers lender. His appraiser didn’t know what a CO and Fire combo detector looks like so the appraiser wanted another brand, we purchased it and put it in the house Carlo then asked for a video of it installed and a picture of the receipt and the box all sent. Then after he funded he needed another picture of it installed when we didn’t jump at his latest thought he stopped the funding. Took his money back, not that I care, he has a borrower wanting to move in he has zero consideration for anyone’s time but his, many lenders happily are making $ 10,000 per loan just pick one that actually cares about you.

We were in the market to refinance our home and used Cardan Mortgage. Jay was on top of the entire transaction from start to finish. After we filled out the forms and provided the necessary information, Jay took care of everything (locking in rate, appraisals, etc.) and kept us updated during the whole process. He made the experience as painless as it could possibly be.

I want to preface this review with the fact that this is my only 1 star review. Ever. My partner and I recently purchased a home and selected David as our broker. Initially, he seemed extremely professional and appeared to have our best interest in mind. As the process of buying a home progressed and we put an offer on an amazing property, things started to fall apart. It became clear that he had not done the required work beforehand, i.e., locking in our mortgage rate or securing the exact amount of our home loan or advising it was problematic to change jobs during this process. In the end, 4 weeks later, we did in fact close on our home. But no thanks to David. We had to pay down extra points to secure the initial rate and more frighteningly, had to get an extension from the seller in order to complete the process. I am a working professional and would NEVER recommend this particular mortgage broker to anyone I know.
