Ladybug Chocolates

Best salted chocolate caramel I’ve found in the area, including Trader Joe’s chocolates. The apple wood smoked salted chocolate caramel is even better.
The service is always friendly, and they are generous with tasting samples. Plus, they offer chocolate covered bacon. So good!
It’s super clean and very cute – worth the stop if you’re driving through Canby. Worthy of multiple stops if you live here.

Quality convections and quality service. Significantly better than the Pudding River Chocolates.

The chocolates are great… especially their Rocky Road, but their service is poor. It’s not the worst service I’ve ever seen, but there’s just no warmth here.

I wish I could I could give them 3.5 stars, because the chocolate is so good, but I can’t in good conscience give them 4. Order online…

Great prices for the quality of chocolates you get. Everyone is so friendly and nice. I have never been disappointed. I use these chocolates for gifts to anyone I know and everyone loves them.

I love it here!!! I am a complete chocoholic who is always on the lookout for great chocolate. The truffles are yummy, especially the orange cream kind :) It’s a bit more expensive than Hershey bars, but I think it’s worth it. Some of their chocolates have appeared in Made in Oregon and Market of Choice locations. I was so happy to pick some up four hours away where I attend college!

I adore this little shop. :) Right here in my small town, I drive across town to get myself a yummy little snack. Well worth it.
I have bought candy in the past now, to send to family in other states!!! I would NOT do this, if it wasn’t YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY!!!

Whilst in Canby (and we have been back for a couple of weeks now, I am just waaaayyyyy behind on reviews), and per Jen’s review (or else I would have never known about this place), we stopped here while waiting for the rest of the family to get their tushes in gear.
Daughter has been on a chocolate tasting stint with her Nana (Toni M. for those of you who know her) so I figured she would be the best judge of the chocolate here since I was on a liquids diet while on this trip.
We walked into the small shop and I was surprised at how curt the woman working there was. She wasn’t warm or welcoming. She didn’t know what some things cost or what was in some things. She didn’t offer us any kind of sample, nor did she ask if we were looking for anything in particular or point us in any sort of direction.
We had a plan to go to the movies later in the day, so I picked up some chocolate covered cherries for my MIL and a chocolate covered Twinkie for husband which he deemed delicious-​even eaten a day later.
Daughter tried a mocha truffle and one other truffle that she claimed was just okay-​nothing like Chocolatier Blue nor as good as some others she has tried.
For a weekday morning when no one else was in the shop, I thought service should have been more cordial-​friendly even. For a small business, a little communication goes a long way-​especially with some serious competition just a few doors down.
3 stars for the chocolate, 1 for the service…

A little chocolate shop in Canby with a big selection. They have a few chocolate covered things like Twinkies, Oreos, rice crispy treats in addition to truffles or other crème filled chocolates.
Free coffee and other bottled drinks you can buy and drink in the store at the café tables.
Open from 10 to 6, 6 days a week I think.

Chocolate covered Twinkies. Yes, you read correctly.
And if that isn’t enough decadence for you, you can chase it down with chocolate covered:

Honey Nut Cheerios
It was easy to be distracted in this cute little shop by their crazy confections, but they also have a large selection of truffles and more standard chocolate treats (caramel, marshmallow and coconut bars). Everything is hand-​crafted using Guittard chocolate and most are available in milk or dark chocolate.
