First off, they never seem to be open until 6:00. The one time I managed to get there before the doors were locked I got the sense that I was inconveniencing them greatly. Secondly, I asked the boy working the counter if they had ricotta. Not only did he have no idea what ricotta was, but when he asked another gentleman working there if they had any that man answered no as if it was a ridiculous suggestion that a supposed Italian market would actually carry ricotta. Looks like this is really just a place to buy the Alfredo brand pasta/sauce/etc and not much beyond that. Very disappointing.

So close to my workplace. So dangerous. So fattening. Why does the cannoli dip(yes you heard right. cannoli dip= all the good stuff inside the cannoli with chocolate chips) have to be so heavenly. The cannoli chips are heaven(said my 5 year old) and peanut/nut free. These should be illegal. I’m on a straight path to diabetes eating these but it’s worth it. They make subs with fresh cut meats, and sell everything and anything Italian. Too lazy to cook dinner? Just buy some premade sauce, meatballs, pasta, chicken parm, chicken Marsala, whatever… It’s all delicious.

Really really love how thick the pizza is here! Delicious and very nice staff! Drove by for a while before I stopped in. The location is a bit awkward, but, that doesn’t change the amazing food and really cool look of the whole place!

Apparently ppl leaving reviews about this place really don’t know what good food is. Everything i bought ended up in the trash. Meatballs were disgusting. Arancini balls had absolutely no taste, minus the fact that there was barely any cheese and sauce in them. Spinach ravioli were so bland. Nothing could make them taste even close to decent. Why use elbows for mac n cheese? They pretty much add a bag of shredded cheddar to over cooked pasta and freeze it. The worst I’ve ever had. And tons of butter that I initially strained out, but that ended up in the trash anyway The rigatoni Bolognese went from oven to trash. And the sauce has more things added to it that u can’t even pronounce! $ 44 of horrible food directly in the trash! Do not waste ur money here!

I have been driving by this place for quite a few years when I am visiting family in the area and have always wanted to stop. I must admit I thought it was a small restaurant all this time. Yesterday, my sister and I decided to bring some food to my parents for dinner and I said can we go there for take out. She said it’s a store, but they have ready to bake food. I opened the door and thought of the places I was in an out of in the North End back in the 1970s! The smell of fresh bread was amazing. As described by others the selection is amazing from vinegars to sauces to olives and tapenades. We picked up eggplant parmesan, a couple of calzones and some sauce. Of course, we had to pick up a few cannoli — which they fill right then and there. The eggplant parmesan was EXCELLENT — we all had second helpings. The kids really enjoyed the calzones — next time I’ll try one of these. The cannolis were HUGE hits. I did not think the prices were bad at all and since the food was so good — it was well worth it! They have a fabulous deli which I will be trying the next time I’m in town. Definitely a place that I will be frequenting more often!

This used to be an old gas station that was converted into a Italian deli & grocery store, shelves filled with Imported olive oil, Vinegar, dry pasta from Italy, polenta, fresh bread, cookies, cakes, candies, a whole wall of frozen entrees, pastas and sauces. They make really good doughy Silician pizza, which they sell by the slices, but they only make a certain amount a day, & when that is gone, it’s gone. & they also make mini calazones on Friday-Italian, Chix & Broccoli, Sausage/Peppers & Onions & Meatball.(The Meatballsones are the BEST!!) The deli is filled with imported cheeses, meats such as Prosciutto di Parma, pancetta, sopressata, coppa, & variety of olives and they make fresh sandwiches to order. There is a huge parking lot, so there is always parking, so it is ver convenient to get in & out when you want to pick something up quick for dinner. But it does close early-7pm on weeknights &5pm on Saturday. Closed on Sundays.
