I am impressed by this little hole in the wall! They carry fantastic brands and the staff is knowledgable and ready to help! I appreciate good customer service, and this staff delivers! My Mom, sister, and I often go shopping there together as they really do carry something for everyone! Great quality shoes and service!

OMG how is it possible I haven’t discovered this store before? My lawyer friend Deborah has been going here, through multiple owners. The woman who owns it now is very friendly and eager to help you find a cool, comfortable pair of sandals or shoes. Most importantly, she likes dogs! Joey roamed around the store while his mom and friend tried on shoes. They brought water out for him and he was a happy camper. Mom was a happy camper too ’cause I found 4 pair of shoes! 3 sandals and a darling, lightweight, white slip on beach shoe that I can comfortably walk in. The sandals have delicious bling and have an incredibly comfortable, light last. The store is right on State Street, with so many other great stores. Parking isn’t great but it’s worth the round-the-block grind to visit this store. Girls, you rock!

I bought a pair of Bernie Mev shoes and a pair of Toe Sox from this store. The Toe Sox fell apart and are not repairable. Although the Bernie Mev shoes are comfy and cute, I had to replace the insoles after 6 months. Not good quality shoes.

I not only love my first pair of Bernie Mev(SILVER) shoes from here but I met the owner on my return visit to get my shoes and she was charming and a really nice person and yes she greeted a dog while I was in her shop! Laurel Brooks

My wife love these shoes and from my visits here I can see why. These are seriously light and cool shoes. My wife walks through sand and water in these when we go on vacation. The staff here loves our puppies, and our puppies love it here. For us dog people are generally good people. Stop in and see what I mean about cool shoes.

Fabulously comfortable shoes — wore my first pair out of the store and for over six hours; did a lot of walking. I have another style coming in the mail. I took a friend in today who bought a pair and called me this evening to report she is still wearing them. Christine is knowledgeable and a delight. She cares more for your comfort than making a sale. I plan to get rid of most of my Clarks, Privos, Eccos, etc., and only buy these in all colors. Be sure to visit the store or their website. Fantastic. Definitely will be taking them to Europe next year and getting all my friends to try them.

Chill out with the Coolest Shoes in California, a approved product. They are the Coolest Shoes in California and I can now say the Glaglas shoes, which I wore for 16+ hours in 85 degree heat starting in Cozumel, traveling by ferry then via A/C tour van to the Chichen Itza Pyramids and Cenote Ik Kil and back to Cozumel again, are probably the coolest shoes for Caribbean Mexico as well! One long day in late September, I wore a sample pair of the Glaglas shoe, donated by Carlsbad, California-based Coolest Shoes in California, to both the Chichen Itza Pyramids and Cenote Ik Kil, both located in the Yucatan city of Piste, Mexico. The daylong trek would take me and my spouse a sizable distance away from the relative civilization of Mexico’s Cozumel(where we stayed for a week) and into the Yucatan far away from any hope of air conditioning. Being heat sensitive traveler, already worried about a day away from air conditioning, I was eager to try these shoes to see just how cool they could potentially be. I realized in that long, hot day that the lightweight shoes(5.5 oz) can take a real beating. I’m fairly confident that«camera-ready» is not the way I would describe them now. From looking at them after their trip and airport fly-back duty, my feet would have likely suffered more than a bit of travel-induced damage. None heat-induced. I now consider ye old flip-flop to be the«other» cool footwear standby. Chichen Itza, located between the cities of Cancun and Merida, is one of the most famous and best restored Mayan ruins in the Yucatan, but heat sensitive travelers beware: it’s dusty, dry, hot, and cobblestone-encrusted, if pathways exist at all. Those with balance issues, perhaps brought on by neurological disorders like Multiple Sclerosis(moi), or systems damaged by Diabetes, will likely praise these ventilated yet durable plastic, cloth– and metal-meshed shoes. The reviewed shoes, made in Carlsbad, CA and sold for $ 65 online at , protected me from numerous stubbed toes, unbalanced rocky terrain, and made it far easier for me to confidently jump feet-first into a 20 meter-deep Cenote from an elevated platform. You might ask why would I wear shoes to plunge into the water?(1) You can easily see blind freshwater catfish swimming in the water and I didn’t want to «step» on any when I jumped into the water and(2) it is a very rocky climb up to the jump platform… If I had bare feet, I would not have climbed so high to make the daring leap. By the way: I jumped in laces undone to see if they would fall off or not. They didn’t.
