Got a gorgeous $ 100 watch engraved here and the engraving is UPSIDE DOWN!
The Owner proceeded to give me a very long reason as to why… and my question is why wouldnt you call me before you engrave and let me know any issues??? His excuse is he engraves at night and he needed to get it done. He told me I can bring it back in (on the off chance he is there) and he can try and fix it. But he probably wont be able to. WOW I guess «getting it done» was more important than doing it right! I think they owe me a watch!

My husband purchased my gorgeous custom engagement ring here and I love it! He had such a great customer experience, we decided to purchase our wedding bands there as well. In addition, we got an additional diamond band for our first anniversary to compliment my custom ring set. John and other employees have been wonderful in accommodating our needs. I had them adjust my rings several times (add sizing beads, engraved messages, weld my bands together, adjust the small diamonds along band, etc.) and each time they have been very courteous and provided excellent work. John has gone out of his way (above and beyond what you would expect) to make each experience as easy for us as possible and calls often with updates. Every time I get my ring back, it is sparkling even more than before and is breathtaking! I am truly satisfied with the quality and experience from this jeweler.

DO NOT SHOP HERE FOR ANY PIECE OF JEWELRY! I recently went to pauling blue fire diamonds to purchase weddings bands for my husband and myself and it was the WORST experience. I needed my wedding band sized to a smaller size. They said it would take about a week. At the end of the week not only was my ring NOT sized and NOT ready to be picked up but they tell me that they can’t size it. It took them a freakin week to tell me that! Outraged. They said they had to order me a whole new ring at the size I wanted. Keep in mind I ordered my wedding bands near valentines day 2010 and said it will be there by the 17^th of march. The 17^th rolls by and no one called me to give an update. Nothing. I had to call THEM. All they could tell me was it was coming. They didn’t take the time to help me track it or anything. So I wait til that Friday march 19^th 2010 to call them again to see if it has arrived. Again. No. I told them you told me it would be there by the 17^th of march and she corrected me and said no I told you it would be there the week of the 17^th. Well… I’m thinking I hope she knows it’s freakin Friday the 19^th. End of the week for businesses. Unless they still get shipments in on weekends!!! If my ring isn’t there by this weekend, I want a full refund because this runaround is ridiculous. Their customer service is POOR. No professionalism whatsoever. All I simply asked was to have the owner give a very pissed off customer a call and I still haven’t heard from the owner. It’s quite simple to give your owner a call and say Hey you need to call this customer back right now and it’s important you do. But no one wants to do anything about it. Please save your time and money well spent elsewhere. Trust me. No one wants to go through this bull.

I haven’t personally visited this store but based on my mother’s experience last week, I don’t recommend it. My mom brought a diamond ring here to be cleaned and rhodium-​plated. It’s a ring that she purchased on one of our first family vacations, so it holds a lot of sentimental value, and it’s been cleaned and plated regularly. She brought it here on impulse because her regular jeweler was out of town, and paid extra for same-​day service since she was scheduled to fly back east the next morning. Unfortunately, she didn’t inspect the ring closely when she picked it up (I should mention that my mom is 60 years old and her attention to detail is not what it used to be). When we met for dinner, she presented me with the ring and I pointed out that it was deformed and missing a diamond. She was devastated and immediately rescheduled her flight so that she could personally handle the situation. She spent a sleepless night counting the hours until the store opened. The next morning, the sales people told her they would rectify the situation and she would be able to pick up the ring the same day. This cheered her up and she was hopeful that everything would be resolved. Sadly, when she returned to pick up the ring, it was not repaired and she was told they couldn’t repair it; her only compensation was a refund of the cleaning/​plating cost. She is deeply disappointed that she trusted Pauling and due to the nature of the damage (it looks like the setting was partially melted), I expect the repair will be difficult and expensive, not to mention the cost of replacing the diamond mêlée.

7 Months after my purchase of an engagement ring and my initial review here on Unilocal,Crystal and the whole team at Blue Fire have seen me through sizings, wedding bands, engravings, and the joining of the engagement and wedding band for my wife. At every stage they have been terrifically helpful, friendly, and professional. They genuinely took an interest in the wedding and in me personally.
It is very comforting to feel like I now actually have friends in the jewelry business. Like mechanics and doctors, a jeweler you can trust is a very valuable thing. I absolutely recommend shopping here.

Mischelle and John were EXTREMELY helpful in helping me get a new ring and keep my old one as this was a custom ring. They did a lot of work to make this happen and it meant a lot to me.

I have been using Pauling Blue Fire Diamonds for just over 5 years now. The staff is great, but Michelle is over the top! She will go out of her way to help you out.

I had gone to Mulloy’s after receiving a recommendation from a friend but was wary because I didn’t receive good service from there in the past. So I got a quote for a ring repair from Mulloy’s and wasn’t really pleased with the price so I decided to take my ring back and try out Pauling. I thought it couldn’t hurt since I was just getting a quote.
Not only did they have my price quote the same day I dropped it off and which was much much much cheaper than Mulloy’s, but they told me that I could have my ring ready at the end of the week (I dropped it off on a Monday). Well lo and behold they called me Tuesday evening to say it was ready.
I went in Wednesday afternoon to pick it up and the ring looked great and my tiny tiny diamonds were as shiny as ever. Perfect job, perfect price and no upsell to do other work that I didn’t ask for.
I definitely recommend this place if you need jewelry repair or any jewelry or watches. I can tell this place is legit.
