Carmel By The Sea, CA(Gallery) Of the many Galleries in Carmel By The Sea the art work by Frenchman Denis Lebecq enables my undiagnosed A.D.D. to slowdown for 2 minutes… Maybe 1. Incredible colors, a simple approach along with the well thought out lighting and black walks within allow these paintings to really stand out. 10 out of 10! The photos I’ve posted are nice but in person a different experience. Tip: No restrooms. Tip: In the past few weeks I’ve been twice and the gentleman working is friendly. Willing to answer my questions. I had to ask the price of the«smaller one» and pleasantly surprised that the price is very reasonable. Then again if I magnify the price to be comparable to the Large pieces we’d be talking a decent amount of coin.

Really nice galery, beautiful art, completely blown away by the paintings of Denis Lebecq(Red Sea… love it!!!). If you pass Carmel, please do visit this nice small city, and especially this art galery, don’t miss it! Denis Lebecq, Marc Clauzade, Todd White… really awesome!

Beautiful gallery with distinctive featured artists and a nice counterpart to its sister gallery in New Orleans. My wife an I both consider it a must-see as we plan our next art investments

o5.24.14 I love art! I absolutely love it! A mini vacation should be relaxed and be around the lil colorful things. Like this town. There are flowers everywhere! I’m so in love with this place. Then we came across this gallery. Drawing, sketching, painting, mixing the color right! I saw a few that the artist used just crayons! That was pretty crazy because you wouldn’t have noticed it was crayons unless you look close(or maybe just me bc I’m kind of blind). P. S. picture taken is not allowed inside.

I had to do a project about a gallery that had by pieces by a female artist for one of my Women Studies classes. This was the third one I entered and I found three female artists with beautiful pieces of art. Each artist had a little info about their medium and inspiration. It was very helpful.

They do have nice art, but are extremely rude and very unfriendly. I asked to borrow a pen and a piece of paper to write down a few names of the artists. The guy at the front desk(don’t know if he is the owner or just works there) asked me if I wanted to be added to their mailing list. I said«no, I just want to borrow a pen». He refused to give me the pen because I didn’t want to sign up! I just walked out and never want to go there again.

Beautiful art work. Come here you’ll definitely enjoy this refreshing gallery. This place holds original works of art from a wide variety of French artists. Apparently this place is the sister gallery to the Galerie Rue Royal also on Ocean Avenue which I did not get to see. Good place to swing by on your vacation if you’re strolling downtown on Ocean Avenue!
