Location: Indoors within a small plaza. Goods: Awesome, I mean awesome selection of items that you would see in The Grand Bazarr in Istanbul, Turkey. Note: The Grand Bazarr in Istanbul, Turkey is one of the oldest(Started in 1455 completed 1730) covered markets in the world. According to some sources the 11th most visited destination in the world. *Scarves, Jewelry, Women’s accessories. My mother bought a purse at a very reasonable price(huge Value given«Carmel»). When my sister saw it for the first time she mentioned it looks like the one I got her. Authentic — Indeed. *Even the beautiful lamps that you see in the various Turkish coffee shops. *The hookah items(not too many) and really cool Turkish Coffee Utensils. *No Food or drink solid. Also, didn’t see any Turkish Delight for sale. Bottom line is I crushed Istanbul in 2010. One of the coolest cities I’ve visited. Equipped with providing several once in a life time experiences. So, the only suggestion(not the 5th star) I’d have is if they would consider adding some essence, herbs, spices to enhance the smell within. Not that it smells there. It’s a very clean establishment. Doing so can really take someone back or to Istanbul for the first time. Oh — Euro’s are accepted — How Sic is that!

We were on vacation and decided to walk down this beautiful alley only to find his gem of a store at the end of it. From the moment you walk in, you are transformed into a different part of the world. I absolutely adore this place and bought an evil eye amulet. There is a wide selection of jewelry, amulets, key chains, and so on. We plan on going back for another visit to Carmel by the sea and this shop will definitely be on my list of places to shop.

Cute little shop in the Doud Arcade. Fun jewelry and household décor. Little service, and not too talkative when you check out. Stuff is priced reasonably.

Small store but when you walk in, you will feel as if you’re in Turkey. Love the art pieces here. Owner is not really nice or welcoming. Don’t even remember If he even said hi. I bought a magnet for 5 bucks and an art peice for $ 25. Prices are reasonable. The jewelry is gorgeous as well. Kinda sucks the owner ruined the experienced for us, not very welcoming.

~~Pricy Delightful Turkish Imports~~ The scarves and small items were reasonably priced. Lots of cultured trinkets, lamps of all sizes, jewelry, wallets that look like magic carpets. From what I understand the lamps are up to 3 times the cost in Turkey but they did do all the hard work for us. Location Hidden inside a long shop way, there are teasers in the hall and the actual shop is located near the food court. Very beautiful and colorful store, worth a look.

We come here every time we come to Carmel. Brought my mother this time. The guy here(owner?) was here last year… was here this year. Very nice. My Mom’s fave place. We spent some money here over two days :) I will be back. Maybe for another gorgeous lamp. I have two now.
