If I could give this place 100 stars I would. There’s not one thing I would complain about, she takes her time, she’s such a sweetheart and the products she uses are amazing and smell phenomenal! The shop is absolutely darling and I can’t say enough good things about it. If you live or are visiting the area, I 100% recommend giving Nails Atelier a visit!:)

First Class all the way! A one woman show (the owner). Elegance & Charm from the moment you walk in. Stunning salon! Like no nail salon you will ever go to. It is pricey ($ 65.00) for a pedicure. But worth every penny! Go see Melissa, (the owner) and ENJOY!

I found Nails Atelier through her ad in the Carmel magazine and called to inquire about a Shellac manicure for my wedding. I have worked in the spa industry for almost a decade and am VERY particular about what I look for when it comes to nail services. Being new to the area, I felt the ad and Unilocal reviews were good enough to book the appointment.
I made the right choice!!! Melissa’s atelier is beautiful, relaxing and everything about it is First Class. She is the only nail technician in the salon (It’s a one woman show) which is delightful because this means you are the only client in the salon during your appointment.
The products, services, prices and décor are all equally fabulous and I will surely be booking again in 2 weeks.
And did I mention my nails looked PERFECT for my wedding?

What a magical rainy afternoon in Carmel. I arranged for a wedding party outing to visit Melissa’s shop and we were blown away.
The ambience, personal attention, and quality work she does is fantastic.
I don’t get my nails done anymore because I’m so tired of all the large nail shops, the feeling that they are trying to rush you through the process as quickly as possible and get you out of their shop. Not really caring what kind of a job they do. I never felt like that at Nails Atelier. There you are given time to relax and appreciate the luxury. She is thorough and personable.
Her thoughtfulness and sweetness made our brides day. Well worth the drive from Santa Cruz. We will be back.

Melissa did my nails for my wedding, and she was awesome. The manicure was amazing! I also loved that she uses Zoya nail polish which does not contain a lot of the chemicals of regular nail polish. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a great nail place since my move to Monterey and this is it! I got a mani and pedi. The service was terrific, the place and equipment were clean and Melissa did an amazing job on my nails. I felt pampered. Usually my nail polish lasts less than a week as I always have my hands in water, but it’s been over a week and there is not a chip on my nails! I highly recommend Nails Atelier.

Melissa is super friendly and professional. I LOVED all her organic products and treatments. Wonderful quality homemade products and careful consideration of all her services and products used. She has integrity in her work and products used which is rare to see today.

Her «atelier» is beautiful and comfy. Everything is clean and glamorous. Loved the chandelier and the orchids.

I have been getting my nails done for about 4 years. I started going to Melissa about 6 months ago and have seen an amazing improvement over the health of my nails as well as the length of time the polish stays on. I don’t know how she does it, but my shellac stays on forever! I used to get only about 1 – 2 weeks out of the shellac, now it stays on 2 – 3 weeks! I’m very hard on my nails so this makes me very happy :) Her shop is so beautiful! I love all the details, it really makes me feel like a million bucks. When I go to Melissa at Nails Atelier, I am so pampered with her amazing service and her genuine care for me. Whoever walks in the door will feel this way too. Surprisingly, I have no complaints! She puts so much thought and effort into her clients and it shows with her work. Thank you, Melissa! Oh, also — She is extremely thorough with sanitizing. It’s a big pet peeve of mine to see anything that isn’t perfectly clean, and I can say I’ve ever been in a cleaner shop. Okay, all done :)
