Wow — this store has so many kawaii, animé, Pokemon, K-Pop, or Asian cultural things to buy it’s overwhelming. We spent an hour in here looking for Korean items, and I swear we STILL didn’t see everything they had on offer. Need an animé-themed or kawaii plushie? They got them in many sizes from small to HUGE. We loved the Gudetama egg yolk character — the pic of him diving into a bowl of ramen with his moon out is HILARIOUS! And the little toast guy with a face! We had to remain focused on what we were actually there for. For our Korean project, we found two packs of a dozen shiny Korean flag and culture stickers(2.99), beautiful enameled Hanbok key chains with Hangul characters($ 4.99), a traditional Yut Nori game($ 4.99), and a dozen different electroplated 24kt gold bookmarks of Korean costumes($ 2.99 each). They had a whole wall of K-Pop boy band heartthrob posters and stickers and notebooks and pencil cases and pens and and and — none of which interested this 50-year-old lady, but I could hear the echoes of pre-teen girls squealing when I looked at these guys — all 100% safe to crush on with just the slightest whiff of danger around their slightly mussed hair and loosened collars. Animé fans can find stickers, posters, pens, and more here. We did not have our animé nerd with us this trip, but we will bring her back soon. We know we saw some Attack on Titan stuff, but weren’t really focused on animé today. Want cool pens? The 10×10 has a zillion — bugs, swirls, characters, kawaii animals, flowers, K-Pop bands(male and female) — the selection is extensive and within any teen or pre-teen’s budget. They do ask that no photographs be taken in the store, so of course we complied. But we are posting some pics of things we bought there for our World Thinking Day event. WELOVETHE10×10!!!
