I am highly disappointed with the customer service my family received today. I have used this location for several family events but today was very upsetting and I will not be going to this establishment again. My family(which includes 3 senior citizens) walked into the restaurant 8 minutes before it opened… which I have done before in the past with no issues. Some female worker told my family that we were not allowed in the lobby and that we would have to wait outside. in 94 degree heat. I voiced my disatisfaction with a male worker and that worker said it was ok to bring my family back in – but at that point, my family decided it was not ok to be treated this way and went to Sizzlers across the street. Tony Roma… you have forever lost customers and I will be sure to pass thr word along.

My friend took me here for my birthday we went in to have lunch. what a great disappointment second time eating there thought I’d get a better meal than the first time but I was wrong. I had the rib dinner very disappointed french fries were refrigerator cold the beans were terrible and the ribs we’re not even warm like they were room temperature. once the waitress brought our meals we never saw her again until we got the check. will definitely not be going back we should have demanded some type of reimbursement but we just let it go sometimes bad experiences cost you. Dickey’s BBQ in Redondo Beach is a place to go if you want good BBQ.

I wish I could give negative stars. The absolute worst dining experience of my life. From beginning to end it was just terrible. Slow service, they need more waiters. HORRIBLE drinks. And even worse food. Had the shrimp appetizer, it was ok. then we ordered the lobster with ribs and lobster with steak. The most disgusting food. It was not hot, I could tell all the food had been frozen and thawed. The mashed potatoes were like a brick and had no seasoning at all! The steak was so dry and over cooked, it was not edible. so gross. After sending it back, I just ordered a salad because how badly can you mess up a salad. Will never return. Literally McDonalds is better.

I remember going to Tony Romas in Santa Barbara years ago and it was always a good meal and a pleasant experience. This place possibly its location im not sure but this was a very unpleasant experience. We arrived around 1pm. We sat in the bar to watch the soccer game. Our waiter gave us the dinner menu. I made a comment that i was hoping to have the spinach dip. The waiter said nothing. For some reason the spinach dip was not on the dinner menu. O grabbed the drink menu and it said Saturday happy hour until 2pm. I said to the waiter, may i have a happy hour menu he went and got it and then turned his back to my group. I look down at my wat h and see its close to 2pm. I waive to the waiter and mention i would like to order off the happy hour menu. He seemed disappointed. I say to him. I see you in fact have spinach dip, i would like to order that. He looks at his watch and i say very clearly, i would have orderdd it sooner however you gave us only the dinner menu. Every employee is latino. That is very odd. The service was VERY slow and inefficient. My group asked for water several times. t The food ugg. I barley ate half of it and they. ever asked any of us if we liked our food. The manager a small women came over and scrutinized my Unilocal check in discount. dont go here. i actually left and ordered some tale out as i didnt eat their food. the broccoli tasted like old shoes. i ate one bite and suggested no one eat it. it tasted horrible. the .eat medallion was cooked well done, i asked for medium and was smothered in a strange brown sauce. the ribs were so very small with very little meat and the sauce was slathered on and was very sweet. to sweet for me. tasted like apple caramel. why did we eat here? my friend picked it. sad face will never eat here

This place has always been mediocre to me. For years, they’ve offered food that is just okay, in my opinion. Service is slow and it’s difficult to find your server once your order is delivered. Last time, the waitress completely forgot my soup. And all I ordered was soup and salad! For a game, a few drinks, and appetizers, the bar may be for you. That’s all the credit I can give TR.

This place sucks!!! I had a birthday email that gave me a buy one get one deal. So I called ahead and was told it was dine in only and I could pay the difference on a higher priced menu item. My Godmother and I drive alllllll the way over there and the server didn’t want to honor it because it was a holiday. What holiday?! Mexican Mother’s Day! What!!! We are in Carson, California! So then the manager comes and it would be honored but they needed a printed copy of the email and the attached certificate. So in order to redeem my birthday certificate: 1) Buy one entrée to get one free. 2) Entrée must be $ 15.99 or less. 3) Sunday — Thursday only. 4) Can not be redeemed on any National, Federal, or Local Holiday. 5) Dine in only. 6) The email and the certificate must be printed. The moral of the story: They lost out on a potential $ 40+ worth of business from not honoring a $ 15 freebie.

Worst steak and ribs ever! Manager Romy only wanted to take $ 10.00 off the bill and we both left more than ¾ of the plates full. Do not eat there. Steak burnt on the bottom and my husband likes it medium well, by far that was more than well done. Ribs looked boiled and just thrown on the plate, no taste. Baked beans were salty not sweet. Anyhow better off at black angus 100% better and cheaper. So much for a birthday dinner. Manager even refused to accept bday couple for reduce price on meal. Anyhow now at another restaurant having a nice dinner.

If it was possible to give zero stars I would. This will definitely be the last time we ever come back here. Service took forever when there were only 10 total tables with people In the entire restaurant. It took 20 minutes to get drinks and order and it was definitely not worth the wait. Everything looked like it was just thrown on the plates. The wild rice had a weird sour flavor. And my steak was way over cooked. Even my husband and sons plates looked terrible. The waiter never even came over to ask how everything was. He just started taking plates when he thought we were done. Not even any drink refills. This is definitely our last time here. NEVERAGAIN!

Wtf? Last time I was at a Tony Roma’s it was a super fun experience… Wtf is this baloney? Service was atrocious! For an extra $ 10 I can go to Mortons and have a steak made from cow meat instead of mystery… Not even sure it was meat honestly. 20 minutes for a refill on my Pepsi… I had to get up and physically ask for a refill because I felt like everyone was ignoring us. At the end of our experience we met Rami… the manager and the only reason I gave 2 stars. He’s super nice and really deserves to work for a much more respectable establishment because everything that went wrong was honestly out of his hands and he truly seemed sorry and desperately wanted our experience to be much better than it was. STAYAWAY

It’s not what it used to be. First the service is awful. The hostess doesn’t know anything about the special listed 2 feet away from her, then again she is a hostess. I asked the waitress 3 times for water. Aside from the onion loaf and Asian salad, the food has become tasteless. This used to be my families must go spot, I’m just glad they built an Olive Garden and Chilies next door.

Good food, terrible service. I waited 10 mins for my second drink to arrive. The reviews are accurate, this place is a total let down. The drinks were good and the food was on point. I watched 3 employees walk by my tab unfazed and unwilling to help. I can believe this place is still open. I loved Tony Roma’s when it was good, never coming again.

Tony Roma’s is one of my all time favorite restaurants. Yesterday I was disappointed. I come to this location at least once a week to order soup and bread to go. Their potato soup is usually exceptional! Yesterday when I picked up my order and got home I realized a sour smell that came from it. I tried it and it tasted like pure sour cream. Sometimes when making potato soup a tad bit of sour cream is put inside of it. I really tried to ignore the alarming smell and sour cream taste. I should have NOT ate this at all. The next morning I smelled the soup and clearly it smelled bad(rotten). I also didn’t feel that well. For someone that eats the same item weekly, I know exactly what it should taste. This was a waste of money and disappointment. Clearly the cook either used ingredients that were spoiled or overloaded the soup with something sour. I’m debating if I should go back because I already wasted my money and time.

was in the area so my wife ands I decided to eat at Tony Romas. She had the soup and salad combo and I had the tri tip sandwich. I had high hopes that it would rial my favorite place but fell very short. the bread wad good, but the meat was very dry. I guess there isn’t any good tri tip sandwich other than Joeys in Torrance

Two stars because the quality of food was as expected but the way this restaurant works is strange. My family is only familiar with the locations in Pacific Beach(the only one in San Diego) and in Guam. We stopped by this location on the way home from LAX. First we were served a basket of complimentary bread which honestly looked like halved Olive Garden rolls instead of the usual sourdough & rye bread rolls. We thought perhaps they ran out of the original rolls because it’s Father’s Day today. Then we ordered our usual appetizer, a full onion loaf. It was perfect besides the fact that it was served without the side of pink dressing. When we requested it, the waiter was confused and took a while until he realized what we were asking for and then he goes«Oh!!! I’ll make some for you right now.» Thank you very much. Our entrées were fine(we all had baby back ribs) no one seemed disappointed. Mine had a short delay because the waiter brought out a pasta but must’ve had the order confused with someone else’s order. On top of all that, the famous bbq sauce was served in little disposable cups rather than a bottle that usually sits at every table. They also must have forgotten to add a cup to my entrée because everyone else had a couple. Oh — and the ambience felt like an Applebee’s. So the food was alright, but things were just different at this location. Maybe we’re used to our own locations but if you want to run a Tony Roma’s franchise, you should try to live it up to it’s standards so that your customers can experience and enjoy a true Tony Roma’s restaurant.

When it comes to Tony Roma’s, I must be one lucky MoFo… This was my first EVER visit to a Tony Roma’s period, much less this store in particular. I honestly don’t get all the negatives. Just sayin’… We decided to come here because I vowed to never, EVER go to that Hell hole across the way,(aka, Chili’s), again. My first impression of the restaurant was that it was nicely decorated, had a well designed /good sized bar area and the store was clean!!! When we arrived, we were greeted cordially and with a smile. We were seated immediately by our greeter with no hesitation whatsoever. Our server«Jaccara» was extremely pleasant and took our drink orders almost before we sat down!!! Between her and the manager, we were checked upon frequently. We placed our drink orders and while they may have been just a tad slow coming back, we had plenty of time to kill so at least for us, it was a non-issue. Maybe if we had been in a hurry I might have been ticked off a bit but the reality of it is, it wasn’t that bad. The wife got a Sangria and the future son-in-law and I got draft beers(25 ouncer’s to boot). She absolutely loved the Sangria and it was damn near the size of our beers!!! Our food order consisted of a cup the tortilla soup, filet medallions and half rack of ribs for the lady, the half rack and lobster tail for myself and a bowl of the tortilla soup and bread for the future son-in-law. They both absolutely loved the soup!!! I didn’t try it but that $hit smelled crazy good!!! The wife said her medallions were very good and both of our half racks were delectably tasty, fall off the bone, tender. Cooked to near perfection. My lobster tail was delish as well, but, in reality, it takes a real moron to screw lobster tail up, so not too much credit there… I added broccoli and corn on the cob as my sides, but only cuz I love my veggies. That said, the broccoli was perfectly steamed and the corn was sweet and good as well. Unlike other Unilocalers have noted, I checked in with my Unilocal app, immediately seen the $ 10 off an order of $ 40 or more offer,(excluding alcohol), and presented it to Jaccara BEFORE she took our order. She did say she had to check with the manager, so he came by, verified the offer and as John Madden would say«BOOM»… $ 10 off our order. A truly pleasurable experience for us… Lucky MoFo that I am…
