I love Chicken Express but this particular store makes me hate it. No one at the register greeted or smiled at us. The person forgot our drinks as well as food items. The eating area was not clean which makes me concerned how clean it is in the back. Looks like they will be putting a new Chicken Express in DeSoto, so will wait to go there.

This place is always very slow. The line is always very long. If you go inside its no better. I like chicken express,(other ones) but this place is the worst. They mess up your order all the time. The fish doesn’t taste fresh. I believe its frozen. The hushpuppies are a little rubbery, and the okra is oh yea, they forgot to give me my okra. Like I said, they are good for messing up your order.

OK so let’s see where do I start… first off I waited almost 15 mins for my food so I thought it would be fresh boy was I wrong it was disgusting… my hot wings were cold and ranch was Luke warm and my roll was undone… the guy in the drive thru threw my food inside the car and then stared at me like I did something wrong… I called there to complain and the manager was acted as if he didn’t care I will be calling corporate first thing in the morning… I will not spend my hard earned money in that place again… I’m very pissed

Geez, calling this place«Chicken EXPRESS» is optimistic. Tonight I waited 30 minutes for one dinner, nothing special, no substitutions. There were a lot of employees there, walking around, joking. I saw one cook in the back at the fryers, trying to keep up with the dinner rush, but there was absolutely no communication between him and the order takers. So I FINALLY got my order, which was a to-go for my son at home. OFCOURSE we were missing the side of gravy for the chicken strips and the fish fillet he ordered was so thin, we had to really look for the actual fish – and it cost us $ 3.00 for a single piece of paper thin fish. I will NOT be returning. What a waste of time and money.

If I want a guy to hit on my wife in front of me I will go to a club and not at a chicken place! Guy told my wife that her shoe laces were untied in a vain attempted to get her to bend over! She’s the calm one of us both!

There is ALWAYS a line wrapped around the building so you’d think that would be indicative of some pretty superior fried chicken. Well, after my first visit here, I’m still trying to figure out what all the fuss is about! I ordered the much lauded chicken strips which were more Iike chicken chunks — huge pieces if white meat fried to a crisp. My only problem was that they were waay too greasy for my taste. And the strips were so big, I could only eat 1. And the service was a little slow. Hoping to avoid the drive thru wait, I went in for counter service only to wait about 15 minutes for my 2 orders. Not ridiculously slow but definitely slow for a fast food joint. My husband did like his order(4 piece dark meat) although they were out of the wings that he originally ordered. I don’t think I’ll be visiting Chicken Express again any time soon. The next time I get a hankering for some chicken strips I’ll head to Raising Cane’s.
