I was driving by and was hungry, so I decided to swing in for lunch. The ambiance was nice and casual. The menu was a bit eclectic, but all the menu items sounded good. I went ahead and ordered the ginger chicken with egg roll and wantin soup. The soup came first andv was excellent. Made me want to try their phở. The egg roll was okay and the fried rice with the meal was also good. The ginger chicken was excellent. I will go back to have the phở and other things on the menu. Lucky me I drive by almost every day.

I live 10 minutes from King Noodle and I eat there often. I work from home so I often go there for lunch and occasionally we take the whole family for dinner. The things I order here are very good but there are many things I would never order at King Noodle. Its a Vietnamese restaurant that tries to serve sushi, Vietnamese, and Chinese food. So I think they’ve over extended themselves a little bit. If you stick with the stuff thats really in their wheelhouse the food is good. The Good: Phở — quite good and certainly the best in this area, I’ve had better but like I said its good here Vermicelli Dishes — Very good, lemongrass beef vermicelli is awesome Stir Fry Dishes — basil chicken, ginger chicken, etc all very good. I don’t like their beef stir fry dishes sometimes the beef is not great Not So Great: Noodle dishes like lo mein mongolian beef(veggie is mostly celery?) Wouldn’t even try it: Sushi — they don’t seem to sell a lot of sushi so its usually not a good idea to get sushi from a place like that. Go to a sushi restaurant if thats what you want. They are primarily a Vietnamese restaurant, so order Vietnamese(Phở, Vermicelli, basil chicken), or maybe some Chinese stir fry and you’ll be happy. Its good food, not amazing food so just know that going in and you’ll be alright.

Great Phở House. The owner is a super gracious man. He invited me to play at their Christmas Party at their location in Round Rock. The wife and I had a really fun time. Audra is a super sweet girl and always takes the time to get it right. Tell her I sent you.

Ordered Chicken Phở and Spring rolls take out. The food was packaged nicely to go. Once home, I warmed up the phở broth and added the noodles/chicken/veggies/herbs. The veggies & herbs were fresh, however the broth was very bland. Half way through the phở, I pulled out a fully intact wish bone(lucky me?). The spring rolls were mainly filled with chopped yellow iceberg lettuce, and lacked carrots, cilantro and cucumbers. Although the Spring Rolls were lackluster, the peanut dipping sauce that accompanied it was pretty good.

We ate there today. We ordered steamed pork dumplings which were cold. The egg rolls were OK. My husband ordered beef Phở and I ordered the white meat chicken Phở. Both were merely average. There were a lot of dirty tables. Another diner was complaining about the wait. Our waiter was OK. Phở What! is far superior in service, quality, cleanliness and taste.

I’ve eaten there before but it has been a long time ago. I remember it being a lot cleaner. For me it doesn’t set well when you walk in the door and your feet stick to the floor! Someone needs to give the employees a boot in the backside. There was 1 customer eating and I did carry out. All 2 of the staff were out front smoking. The windows were dirty as well as the tables. The place could use a good cleaning! I remember the food being great the last time I was there but it is just this side of YUCK now. I will not go back.

I had the spicy beef noodle soup with vermicelli. It definitely was NOT authentic Vietnamese. The soup was too salty and didn’t have much flavor, the beef wasn’t tender, the noodles were cooked well and still had some bounce in them. The traditional plate of greens was not good because it only had some Thai basil, 2 tiny stalks of coriander, chili, and nothing else. The condiments on offer were not typical of Vietnamese food. Overall, I’m sure they are nice dishes at this place but it doesn’t have authentic dishes.

I love the food here. The staff is always friendly, and I have never walked away unhappy. The phở is one of the best I’ve had, and the vermicelli noodles are great. My husband enjoys the general Tso’s chicken most of the time, but will change it up with the various Chinese dishes. I love their miso soup and the hot and sour soup as well. I always get a Thai iced tea when I stop in, without the bubbles, it’s a sweet treat, no need for a dessert. I always end up taking leftovers home because the portions are so large. I’ve never had to wait long for food, and I dine in even when I’m by myself because I love the atmosphere.

Great food, friendly staff, good prices. What more can you ask for? Selection is large and portions are good sized. Clean and pleasant environment. Never seems too noisy or crowded, but always has folks dining.

Their shaken beef are the best! Just try it out with a fried egg on top. Overall the restaurant is really nice and clean.

We always order to go so I can’t comment on the dinning in and wait time but I can comment on the great food. The food has always been great tasting a fresh. We love their Vietnamese coffee and the egg rolls are some of the best I’ve had in a while. Love this place! I wish some of the portions were a bit more consistent in the meat ratio(hence the 4 stars) but overall we enjoy this place and continue to come back!

Waiting 45 min and still no food. I will not be back. What a disappointment. Spending hard earned money after payday foe our one family night out and I have not eaten for 7 hrs. Sad.

Went last night. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated(not a big deal), but wasn’t greeted. Then sat and waited 20 minutes. Nobody ended up coming to the table or even let us know they would be with us. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. Wasted 30 minutes for nothing. We have eaten here before and the food is good but we won’t be returning.

Love the food and friendly staff! The Spring Rolls are a great starter, and the Vermicelli bowls are the best around here. The staff never allows my glass to be empty, and with some spicy options that is very helpful. It’s nice to have such consistent food and service so close to home.

When I saw this place had 3 stars, I was confused! I really enjoyed King Noodle! We had egg rolls, the philly roll, and lo mein. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was great, we love that it’s casual and local! So glad to find this place :)

They serve Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese food with a beer and wine bar. Everything looks good. No MSG in their food. I can only comment on the beef noodle soup because it’s so yummy, it’s all I eat when I come here. Load it up with fresh basil, cilantro, bean sprouts and peppers. Add some huasan sauce and chili sauce! You probably won’t be able to finish the HUGE bowl. Cool décor, casual and good service. Soup $ 8.95.

I am very disappointed on how our Sunday dinner went. I ordered a sashimi platter for $ 22. I mean I ordered sashimi platters for this price at different restaurants and this is the WORST! I can’t believe I paid so much for it! 6 THINly poor sliced fresh fish(2xsalmon, 2xtuna and 2xmaguro) then 3 pcs of smoked salmon(in actual this is just 1 pc of sliced smoked salmon divided into 3) and 2 pcs of butterflied shrimp, which by the way you can inhale with your nostrils.

My family and I frequent this restaurant. The food is high quality and the menu is vast. Usually the service is great, though sometimes the servers are very hard to understand and may seem rude due to cultural impediments.

I don’t know what all the negative reviews are about, we like this place! Fast friendly service. Good variety of Asian food. We’ve tried the phở, chicken lo neon, sushi, and Vietnamese bun with beef and lemongrass. All delicious. Glad to have some ethnic flare in CP!

Sorry King Noodle our relationship has come to an end. It started out so wonderfully a real noodle, PHO, and Sushi option restaurant being so close to us. The fact they had«traditional» Asian dishes was a definite plus. I overlooked the sloppy service and the customer is always wrong attitude of management as the food was good. I’ve noticed on my last couple of visits that prices have gone up and the quality of the food has decreased. Sat PM was the last straw. We ordered a few pieces of sushi as an App. They were served on a mound of rice. We ended up removing over ½ to ¾ of the rice. As I was eating the sushi I started to long for Soto! My spicy seafood noodle dish was OK but the squid was rubbery and crab with the K was a turn off. Just don’t even include it in the dish if you are going to use Krab and not crab. My dining companion’s General Tsao chicken was inedible. She asked for all white meat and got dark meat(no big deal) but fried grizzle pieces and it was battered to excess. To excess I mean«check this out a pile of breading and a little piece of alleged chicken.» Not to be totally negative our server was great and he had the kitchen redo her dinner. Second dish was prepared and cooked fine but was very plain. There are too many other Asian options in the 78613 area now that are much better than KN.
