This place is a mess. Bad service the whole time. All of our menus were put on top of our plates. NASTY. Who does that ?? The most Lazy azz waiters I have ever encountered. They actually served us ice Tap water lol. The service here was HORRIBLE. If I owned a restaurant I would make sure it’s clean and presentable for the customers. The bathroom was so dirty. My advice to management … Clean the dam place and re-train your staff on the proper way to serve people. I was highly disappointed in the lack of service. Took over an hour for our food to arrive on a very unbusy night. I would not ever go back even if it was Free. Please clean your bathroom it’s gross!!!

I love this place! Great sushi and great steak! The restaurant is beautiful. The service is a bit slow, but the food is always worth the wait.

Pros: Kosher food Cons: Service is atrocious. I will not be returning here. I do not go out to eat to most places for the food as I can usually make it the same or better at home. If I am going to be paying more for kosher food I expect to have decent service and not get attitude from the waitress regarding food allergies and options.

Kosher in the house… sushi in the house this is a fine looking place with a giant wall fish tank if your a fish tank loving loving family then you will enjoy watching though if you love fish does that mean you eat their brethren? Ok that is a deep question for another day. the sushi is just ok, considering the price and its the price that makes it just ok the service can be spotty and they treat you like you owe them instead of them owing you a nice meal. It can be very crowded so call for a reservation. Chances are unless I need the kosher I won’t be back

Haven’t been there in a while but the place definitely took a dive… For starters the place was more than half empty and they made a fuss about seating us near the fish tank because«larger parties may show up». My three year old son was begging to sit there and after asking a few times they allowed us to sit there. The waiter and manager were clueless about the menu and couldn’t make any recommendations other than say«oh that’s pretty good». What really got to me was the $ 85 bill(for 2 adults and a three year old) and then being told that they don’t accept Amex. We saw you hesitantly take Amex for the previous customer who told you that they don’t have another card. If you cant handle paying an additional 1% for Amex then you shouldn’t expect people to pay $ 15 for an average roll of sushi!

Used to be my favorite restaurant. But they keep changing things on the menu that were really good to mediocre tasting. Stick to what’s good Sushi Metsuyan! And since when does vegetable tempura mean fried vegetables with bread crumbs and red dipping sauce? It’s not mozzarella sticks!
