Dr Grupe is wonderful. Best ‘bedside’ manner I’ve experienced in years. The rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Truly a pleasant experience all around.

I have been coming here for a long time and am never disappointed. I rarely wait longer than a few minutes before getting to my exam. The staff is always courteous and professional. I highly recommend.

Dr Bill Breen is the only reason I came to this location. I’ve known him as a friend, neighbor, and primary eye doctor since the very early 80’s and won’t trust my eyes to anyone but him. In this instance, I didn’t visit Dr. Breen but rather to get a frame replaced under warranty. The office staff was courteous and friendly when I walked in and the Optician was professional and very helpful. The frame actually arrived before they said it would too. It was actually a rather pleasant experience.

My family has been seeing Dr. Grupe for several years. Great doc, great office, and terrific opticians who always help me find the right frames for my face! Even went to special effort to help me have my sunglasses for my trip!

I hadn’t been to an eye doctor in years but decided to go since I had been experiencing headaches and thought it may have something to do with my vision. I went for an exam and the eye doctor was fantastic, I don’t remember his name but he did a really great job with making the exam comfortable and quick for me. It took me a couple months after my exam to pick out frames, I went to a couple other stores to look around and then decided to go back to make a choice. I didn’t have anyone go with me, which was probably my bad when I ended up with frames that I didn’t like. I would have rated them higher because I really like the store, they have a nice variety of frames, I just didn’t feel that they helped me pick out a good style, when I picked up my frames the man who adjusted them assured me they looked «GREAT» and then when I went back to work the truth came out. Shame on me for not taking someone I trusted with me to give me solid advice on what looks good, now I’m stuck with a pair of frames until my insurance renews next year. At least I can see better!

Well I’m sad to write a bad review for this business as there were a number of highlights. Bill start with those. Sue, the lady at the front is great! Very friendly, attentive, and organized! The were completely booked a month in advance and she called me as soon as there was a cancellation! The Dr. That I worked with was great as well. I don’t remember her name but she was fast, friendly, and very patient with my questions. The sales lady, I also forgot her name, was friendly and quirky :) the reason for the 2 stars is because at the end of my visit there, after paying, she quoted me 2 weeks for pick up which falls right around today. At that time I asked her if they take special requests and she responded with, «yes, when were you hoping?». I then explained that my birthday was December 28^th and I’d be taking a trip to Vegas, I’d love to have them for the trip! She replied that this should not be a problem, even considering the holidays. I was ecstatic! I couldn’t believe how easy and accommodating they are! Well, that was until I called in on the 26^th to here that the lenses hadn’t even arrived. The lady, I think her name was Heidi, had no sense of urgency and appeared to be non-​sensitive to the situation at all! These are the types of things that separate the amazing experiences from the average or dismal ones. Don’t expect anything past the regular LensCrafters from these guys. The reason for a below average rating is because they set my expectation then didn’t deliver! Maybe I’m being too hard on them but they have no idea how disappointing it was to be let down by them.
