Are you craving some Mongolian BBQ while shopping at Cerritos Mall? Come here. Definitely one of the better food choices at the food court. It’s always a challenge to fill that bowl with as much meat as you can and still have space for the veggies that you want. But. the challenge is always accepted. The food here is greasy and delicious. The meat can get a bit dry, but it’s still good. I feel like the portions have gotten smaller, but still a good amount of food.

Horrible service. I told the guy TWICE no ice, and he put ice because his balls wanted too. I ask for Coke(it didn’t have gas) they only had beef meat and when I ask for pineapple the manager I believe he only put like 4 pcs, 2hrs before closing they didn’t have enough Veggies… The veggies that felt in the noodles he grabbed them with his hands and put them back in the bowls. DISGUSTING!

Five stars… taking into account this is Food Court food. The noodles are great, flavored to your specifications. I only get the noodles here, vegetarian style, no meat. I get all the sauces and make it spicy with garlic and it’s delish. I love the texture and the chewiness of the thicker style noodles. If you’re in the mood for something«Asian» while shopping, you can order the noodles here(chow mein) and then hop on over to Panda Express for some entrees. Mix and match to your heart’s content!

Updated review(10÷5÷15): went back today, the regular workers were there and I’m in heaven again with the food! Regular portion compare to my last child’s meal. Love this place. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — This place was great for a long time. Recently, there is a Caucasian worker who started there. He barely gives you any noodles. Don’t think I’ll be coming here again.

What’s not to like about this place? Maybe the price, since it’s about 10 dollars to eat here. But the taste is superb! You get to basically build your own meat and veggie castle. Half the fun is learning to balance all the toppings and keeping your creation from toppling over(the other half is eating it). Highly recommended for engineers and jenga enthusiasts.

Maybe I had a bad encounter, but the experience I had was worth this review. There were two girls in front of me who had just been served, and I came up as the cashier was leaving. I waited, assuming she was tending to other business needs; I totally get that sometimes the customer at the register might need to wait a few to be assisted. Usually, the cashier lets you know that someone will be around in a bit. I waited for 2 – 3 minutes and nothing. I had to ask if anyone was going to help me. She was having a conversation with another worker and wasn’t watching the register. The girl was completely standoffish, she gave me no eye contact. I was more of an inconvenience than I customer. The food is what you’d expect from a MBBQ establishment. The selection of vegetables wasn’t as big as most of them. Most of the meat looked like it had freezer burn-GROSS! The food I selected and ate wasn’t too bad. For the cost, service and tastiness of it all, this place has room for improvement. I won’t be coming back again, though.

I love this stuff, but my last experience was disappointing. The juices were spilled in the bag & there was a leak on the bottom of the box. I transferred the noodles to the other side of the box and noticed the Styrofoam melted and burned. I’m not sure what caused this, but I know that the noodles could not have been healthy for anyone to eat. The noodles come fresh off the grill, so it was most likely the heat. I would suggest that they line the bottom of the box with foil.

Stupid cashier ran out of receipt tape and said he didn’t charge me so asked for my card again. I hesitated and said, «I think it still went through». He said he cancelled it and promised I wouldn’t be double charged. Checked my account today and of course he DOUBLE charged me. Not going there again to give away money. Right now I’m waiting for the mall to open so I can give him an ear full.

Yummm… Get the food here and the drink at Mickey D’s($ 1 for any size drink). The trick with the meat is to get the small flat pieces. People usually grab the big pieces, but it all breaks up anyway. Don’t get the giant curled pieces. They just take too much space in the bowl. Next, grab the giant flat pieces. Place them along the edges and build them up like a wall. Start placing miscellaneous items around the outer perimeter of the bowl. People usually start at the center, but you can’t pile as much this way. Then get whatever else you want in the middle, and smush down with napkins. Don’t let them see you smash though. =P Get an extra tray or some sauce containers. There’s a ton of extra juice that collects at the bottom so you’ll want to drain it out. With the tray closed, use your hand to clamp both ends closed, tilt, and drain into the empty container.

This place is okay… My brother and I had a go-to spot for Mongolian BBQ back when used to live in Burbank and were desperate to find one in the OC area and this happened to be the closest. I can’t think of any other word other than okay… Haha. It’s just okay. Nothing superb, nothing disastrous. It’s a little bit on the expensive side for such a small bowl though. Also! They don’t have tofu which is one of my favorite ingredients for Mongolian BBQ): I asked for extra BBQ sauce and garlic when they were adding sauces to my bowl just cause I had a sixth sense about it and I’m so glad I did! It was just the right amount of flavor. I’ve read a couple reviews about the workers there being rude, but I actually had no problem with either of them. They were both helpful and polite.

This place is the worst place in the food court that I’ve been into. The two guys that works here don’t have respect for their customers. I ordered 1bowl and i saw this lady pushing down the meat in her bowl the worker sees it but he didn’t say anything. But when i tried doing the same thing he was like«Hey, don’t push ok? Don’t push.» When we got to the chowmein part, the worker gave the lady a lot, what he gave me was half of hers. When my boyfriend asked for water, he told him they were close. so, i had to go up there and ask him again. And he told me to wait. Seriously?! THISPLACEANDTHEWORKERSAREVERYRIDICULOUS! Change the workers with good manners. Sigh

I hate bagging on food court restaurants because I know how tough it is for them with the high rent and competition with super corporations, but I remember Great Khan was the cream of the crop when they came on the scene, and stayed on top for a long time, until recently. Was there a change in ownership? The quality keeps declining with each visit. The bowl for stacking toppings is getting smaller, and there is a «no pressing down on meat» rule, which makes it near impossible to follow the rules and get anything worth your money. The cooks are also inconsistent with their work as other reviewers mentioned, either under-cooking or over-cooking the food to a burnt black crisp. A suggestion to the owner is to find better places to cut on expenses other than the quality of the food and properly train those cooks. The cooks are core to the whole system because we can actually see them cook everything and it’s part of the experience. You don’t put up a massive griddle with cooks parading around it with a transparent partition for nothing. It’s a problem when this transparent process lends room for me to instruct the cooks: «please cook the noodles more, they’re not done,» or «please keep everything going at a constant stir so nothing burns.» Usually a restaurant displaying their cooking process displays confidence and provides a bit of a show, but I’m not sure what Great Khan is going for here. Whenever I tried other Great Khan locations or anything similar, I used to comment that it’s not quite what it is compared to the Cerritos location. I’m afraid I can’t say that anymore unless the aforementioned problems are fixed.

Great khan huh… There is nothing great about this place I know it is just a little place in a food court but come on Mc Donald’s has better quality ingredients. There soda is always flat, The noodles i had were undercooked, The noodles my boyfriend had were burt to a crisp And also extremely over priced and understaffed. They never refilled any of the topping tins either. And I’m not surprised that i am stuck on the toilet writing this review.。(ノ‘)

It’s really an art figuring out how to fix all the toppings you want without everything tipping over. You order at the cashier and pay. The worker will give you a tray with an empty bowl and utensils. You are free to make your way through the line and add on whatever meat and veggies you want. Meats come first and they ask that you don’t push down on the meat with your hands(let’s be real, everyone does it anyways). Then pile on all the veggies you want. The worker at the end will add whatever sauces you ask for then noodles. It’s then taken to the grill and everything is cooked together! My usual is chicken, bean sprouts, cabbage, onions, mushrooms, and brocolli. I get every sauce available on it, plus hot sauce and garlic. It’s so delicious and the portions are huge! I usually have leftovers. Don’t forget to top it off with some sriracha!

I don’t think the meat is of the highest quality. It always has a slightly odd taste. But one day, I understood the appeal of this place, and now I’m a fan. It’s a little over $ 11, so it isn’t the cheapest thing at the mall, BUT if you plan right and stack everything in the logical way, you get so much food that you can easily share it among three people. It’s better to press the meat to one side of the bowl and make it stand like a wall of sorts. Then it can support all the veggies. I like that they are pretty generous with the noodle. But the thing that I realized, the thing that makes this place so appealing is the fact that they don’t cook with lots of oils. They use the water and sauce on the giant griddle so that the food ends up tasting pretty clean. I don’t get the constant oily taste in my burping or anything, which is a real plus. I come here about 2 – 3 times a month because my kids love this place as well. It feels a lot healthier than regular chowmein.

GUILTMEAL. I come here when I have the house to myself, and I plan on having Netflix on all day. I have noticed the smaller bowls, but its not a big deal that the 20 pound bowl is now a 15 pound bowl(disclaimer: no, I didn’t actually weigh the bowls. –__-) I guess what I like the most is that you can completely customize your meal by adding as many components into your bowl as you can manage. I usually go for a turkey/beef blend with as many veggies as I can cram in. I am not a fan of «smashing» or «smoshing» my ingredients in cause I would feel too much of a glutton if I did that. Another great perk is that the line goes rather quickly(granted, that the people in front of you are not taking their precious time). Oh, and I always get it super spicy!

I Love Mongolian food, not enough to be Mongolian but man i love there food :) Went here for lunch today, foods always fresh, very hot and tasty. Cooks are nice and friendly, and best time to go is during the weekdays, its less busy and they pay more attention to detail, they loose a star buy being a bit expensive, Ten dollars for a meal and medium soda with no refills and you don’t get rice or soup :(
