To say we have a mechanic we trust is rarely said by anyone, but true for us. Heavner’s On-Site Auto Repair has made that possible. It started off with a sudden and terrible noise my old car was making at low RPMs. It would shake, too. Not wanting to wait, we looked online quickly to find the nearest service station and took it there, which happened to be Heavner’s. They were very friendly despite the fact that we had no appointment, nor did we call first. They came out to talk to us and hear/feel what the car was doing. They offered to keep the car and call us when the work was done. That’s what we were hoping for, since we knew the car shouldn’t be driven much judging by how it was acting. We had brought two cars so we could simply leave mine there. They finished the work, which was an oil leak in one of the spark plug housings. Not a major fix, but an important one. It was fixed in a timely manner, and with fair fees. We were very pleased with the entire experience. Many months later, car inspection time rolled around so we decided to go back to Heavner’s. My hubby decided to just stop in for a chat about it, and had it scheduled for a few days later. When he walked into their shop, they remember him! After all of those months! Again, quality work and fair prices. Since then, we’ve used them for more state inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repair work. They’ve fixed a couple of issues in my husband’s vehicle. We truly trust these guys and their opinions. They know their stuff, but if for some reason they don’t, they won’t fake it. They look for the best deal for parts, and charge fair fees for labor. They never try to sell you things you don’t need just to make an extra buck. Their shop isn’t fancy, which might turn some folks away. But if you think about it, it’s better this way. They don’t have to charge you extra in order to pay for big screen TVs, plush leather couches, fancy coffee machines with gourmet coffee, boxes of fresh donuts daily, and other treats. Sure, those things are nice when you’re waiting for your car to be serviced, but it’s factored into what you’re paying. At Heavner’s, you drop off your car, and pick it up when it’s done. Fine by me! You can schedule appointments on line, which is convenient. Sometimes my husband will stop in to make an appointment or ask a question simply because he likes speaking with those two guys. He also likes the fact they they offer Amsoil, and we now both have that in our vehicles. Heavner’s offers on-side repair work. If you’re broken down alongside the road, at work, or wherever, they can come to you to fix it. That could come in really handy. We have recommended Heavner’s several times, and are proud to do so. They really do provide quality work, and you can trust them. They are very friendly, professional, and get the job done right.
