This is almost like a warehouse style of a store. It’s a very tiny store however you will get all your Afghan staples and supplies. There is not a Afghan grocery store in south Florida. Or at least I have not discovered it yet. I do not know how to cook Afghan cuisine however I love eating that cuisine. Specially Kabli palaoo is amazing. Without further straying from the subject, Bakhtar Bakery sells amazing Afghan Naan. I have eaten these my whole childhood growing up in Virginia. There is a big Afghan population in Virginia area. I never really valued their grocery stores until moving to Florida. When I went to Virginia to visit my parents, I had the brilliant idea of buying Afghan naan in bulk and bringing it back to FL and putting it in my freezer. Bakhtar bakery supplies their bread to most Indian, Pakistani, Afghan, Middle Eastern grocery stores their bread to sell. They make the bread on their premise. Another thing I recommend trying is their dry fruits and nuts etc. They are very fresh and sell them by the pound. If you are in VA try them out. From the outside the store looks like a storage unit and you might get lost. Get your GPS out.~

I bought a flat-bread at lotte plaza from them and it was very good. My only issue is I doubt the nutritional information. The numbers do not make sense for the 4 oz servings. Of course, they also say 57 grams which is TWO ounces. The calories align closely enough with other sources for 2 oz but the amount of fiber is still way off. Just be warned

This is an Afghan Bakery located in an industrial style office park. If you enjoy Afghan Barbary flat bread, I highly recommend stopping by this bakery and picking up some. It is only a little over $ 1 a piece and it is baked on-site so you know it is very fresh. They distribute their bread to various ethnic shops throughout the area, but why not get it fresh from the source? I use it to make pizza with.
