So the vanilla butter slice was really dry and tasted almost stale. The blueberry was a lot better and the moisture of the bread was perfect. Other than that, I gave it ³⁄₅ because of the service. The lady was just rude and even though we were the only customers there, she didn’t give us proper attention. She also refused to give more than 1 spoon per cake slice which I thought was ridiculous but sorta amusing. Cakes are decent, service sucks!

This bakery is super convenient, since it’s so close to home. They have a decent variety of baked goods. Employees are quick and friendly. Sometimes they will throw in a free bakery item in your bag when you check out, which is very nice of them.
Recently I picked up a cake for my Aunt’s birthday. I love that they have a bunch of ready made cakes available in their display case. They offer different sized cakes, which is perfect if you just want a slice for yourself or a larger cake for the family. Like most Korean bakeries, the cakes are not overly sweet and the cream they use is very light. They don’t use icing, its more like a whipped cream consistency. The cake itself is also very light, like a sponge cake. The fruits on top are fresh and juicy. It was all delicious and my Aunt loved it.

My bosses birthday was 3/​2, I looked up bakeries last Friday to order a cake from to celebrate; I came across Le Pain and decided to head in to order as it’s close to work. The ladies behind the counter are really lovely and kind (they gave me a free pastry after I paid), I placed my order for a 7 inch round cream filled cake topped with fruit (the one I ordered is identical to the picture posted by Mayra F. in 2012; yes that’s quiet a while ago but the cake in the case was IDENTICAL to her picture). I ordered that exact cake to be picked up Monday ³⁄₂ at 10:30 am. I was disappointed with the way my cake turned out; it was nice, but not what I ordered. When I spoke with the ladies Friday they made sure I said the fruit topped cake and pointed to it 4 times, I said yes– exactly like this (it was really lovely) and mind turned out looking like the weird cousin to this lovely cake. Total cost around $ 30…total worth. Not quite there. The cake itself was decent, the filling was nice but the yellow cake was a bit wet tasting as my coworker pointed out. I was the only one who was really let down out of the 4 people that ate the cake; I believe they can do better and am willing to give this bakery another chance one day.

I have been buying cakes and other pasties from Le Pain since they first opened. From my experience, their cakes and pastries tasted good. So when it’s time to order a birthday cake for my daughter’s birthday, i decided to order from them. I picked Frozen theme sheet cake, it turned out nothing like the picture shown. I’ve order theme cake from Wegman’s, Giant’s and other places before, so I know it’s depending on the cake decorator’s ability to imitate the color and decorating details. This is by far the worst cake decorating job. Color was way off and many elements were missing. If the party was not on the day I picked it up, I would just gave it back to them. I was so disappointed and almost too embarrassed to serve but I had no choice. Very very disappointed!

My husband bought a cake for my birthday from here and it was the most delicious cake that i have had in a while! Absolutely recommend this place.

Some of the buns are pricier than Shilla, however, I love this place for the taro buns!!! It has a purple tinge to it and has this taro swirly filling, I love it, and you should too!

Excellent cake. Best I’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait till I can try something else. It’s inside the Lotte Mart.

Find this Asian-​bakery right inside (on the left) of the entrance of Lotte’s Market. They have some yummy things, especially their brioche bread that is the biggest brioche I have ever seen. Sometimes, they look perfect other times they are lopsided, however, it is tasty. Cost 2.50 servings for two!

Love all the pastries I got from them so far! I want to try everything! The best and friendliest bakery in Chantilly!

I ordered an birthday cake for my daughter’s birthday from this store located inside Lotte Plaza in Chantilly, VA. Our order had a little glitch, but the shop made it up and we were pleased with their efforts and attitude. The quality of the cake was excellent. Would use them again.
