I was craving some sushi earlier today, decided to give this place a try because the pricing is so cheap. I wasn’t impressed, all I can say is you get what you pay for. Sashimi was fishy tasting, probably not fresh enough. Eel sushi isn’t good neither, didn’t even grill it, they just straight up take it out of the package, cut it and put it on the sushi rice. I would recommend the spicy tuna roll, it’s was a good buy for $ 3. It’s okay if you like to dip your sushi in soy sauce, if you enjoy eating it fresh, this probably isn’t a place for you.

Good sushi at affordable prices! I would give four stars for the sushi but an overall three stars because the people are just so unfriendly. They never smile and they don’t even talk to you when you pay. Not even a hello or thank you or $ 8 please. What is that about?!

MOSTIMPORTANT: IT’S INLOTTE! Don’t do what I did. Don’t ignore the reviews that blatantly state it’s in the produce section of Lotte. Don’t use Maps to find it. Don’t drive around like a doofus, circling the entire shopping center five or six times, looking futilely for storefront signs before throwing your phone and cursing whoever the jackass was that conceived the elaborate prank of a fictitious sushi bar. After you slap your forehead and walk into Lotte to find it, you’ll also find that Rainbow Sushi is awesome. The fish is fresh and tasty, but what really makes it is the price. I honestly feel guilty for buying sushi at their prices. For some rolls, it works out to like 25 cents each. How can they afford to stay in business? Oh yeah: there’s no seating. But if you find your way to the right rear corner of Lotte, there’s an eating area there.

Delicious sushi and rolls for fast food prices! Rainbow sushi is located inside of the Lotte Plaza supermarket, right by the produce section. The sushi is freshly prepared and is great for a meal on the go. Now, I’ve had many, many pieces of sushi, rolls, sashimi, etc. and I’m in no way saying this is the best sushi I’ve ever had. This is, however, the best bargain sushi around. In my experience, cheap sushi is bad quality and bad taste. Luckily, that isn’t the case here. So if you’re itching for some sushi, but short on the cash, stop by Rainbow Sushi and give them a try!

Super affordable! This is a great grab-n-go sushi spot! At first I didn’t notice the stand but now I do! Haha! It’s located in Lotte by the produce section. As soon as you enter in, go straight and look to your left side next to a korean take out. They do close early– 7pm or 8pm. I bought the salmon roll and seaweed salad. Tasted so fresh and better than your regular grocery stores. Ask for chopsticks. As for service, I had no problem! They were friendly. Credit cards are accepted with a $ 5 minimum purchase.

Best place for grab-and-go sushi. Skip the supermarket sushi — this is made fresh on site, and it’s much cheaper! Very reasonable prices for party platters. Inside of Lotte Plaza near the produce section.

This place is awesome. The sushi is super fresh and they’ll make anything you ask. The prices are awesome, starting at $ 3.95 for a basic roll. Perfect place to grab a few rolls for lunch.

It’s inside the Lotte Asian/World Supermarket… Drove around three plazas in the sprawling centers nearby before I realized that. Had two maki tuna rolls and one California roll… $ 10 with tip. The California roll was one of two boxes sitting in the fridge case(worried it was sitting for a long while) and they made the tuna rolls fresh. Goth taste fresh, tuna rolls had a slight fishy taste, but not bad in the least. I’m in town for business and wanted some sushi, and I found this place because of a Unilocal search, glad I did. Supermarket looked fun, as well, buts was just there for the sushi. Hate to be stereotypical, as well, but watch for the bad drivers. Almost hit by three cars backing out of their spots in the lot.

As an out-of-towner, I made it a point to stop by here because of the Unilocal reviews. While I wouldn’t rate it a 5-star, I’m willing to admit I am not an expert or connoisseur of sushi, and perhaps would not appreciate some of the finer notes others might notice. It is a little place inside the produce section of Lotte Plaza with good sushi prices. As another poster said, there’s chefs behind the counter, and their display holds a variety of sushi. The chef guys are friendly and polite. The lady ringing you up, not so much. I asked for soy sauce and she muttered something way too low to hear. Then I was summarily dismissed from her attention. I asked again, and she muttered again, and then dismissed me. Because I wasn’t sure if she was saying the soy sauce was already there or was directing me to somewhere I could get it, I tried to verify, to which she nodded the soy sauce was already in the bag.(BTW, it’s only one packet of soy sauce included in the package which wasn’t really enough for me. I wonder why they didn’t have a communal grab bucket of the stuff like other places have? Is it THAT expensive?) Frankly, I don’t care to deal with employees who are THAT unwilling to help someone who obviously is struggling with the store’s process out, but you get what you get in these little shops. To the positive, the man/chef I dealt with the second time there was VERY polite, and VERY nice. What I really like about their sushi is it is not that sickeningly-sweet stuff a lot of grocery stores sell. I don’t know why, but the pre-packaged deals seem to go overboard on what? The rice-wine vinegar? I’m not sure. ANYWAY… It was just the right flavour for me… fresh ingredients… well-priced. I’d buy from them again… But maybe I’d just wait until the man/chef is back on duty at the register. ;-)

Great little sushi place inside the produce section of Lotte Market. It’s a stand with fresh sushi on display. There are two to three sushi chefs behind the counter creating sushi(you can also see what they’re doing. If you’re curious on sanitation and such). The prices are a steal compared to the sushi restaurants I’ve been to. I believe they start from $ 3 up to $ 7. Not including platters. Sushi always tastes delicious and the chefs are always very friendly.

Good, fresh, inexpensive sushi to go! Only thing is that they told me they don’t customize boxes. You get what they put together. But, otherwise, very good. And then you can go shopping(at Lotte) after lunch! :)

I love that they are across the street from me. I love that a spicy tuna roll is not overwhelmed with rice and only 3.95 per roll. I love that I can grab all my random Asian veggies and meats in the time it takes them to make our rolls. I love that we can have a home date-night for less than $ 20 bucks and fall asleep stuffed. These guys know our orders and as soon as they see me they start working on it.

This little spot(I wouldn’t call it a «restaurant») inside of Lotte Plaza has the tastiest and cheapest sushi takeout around. Don’t waste your time on the supermarket shit. Pick some up here for lunch for a fraction of the price. They’ve got great party platters too.

This is a great, cheap sushi option, especially convenient if I’m already there picking up groceries. Just a heads up to double check the label on the package… I quickly grabbed a spicy tuna roll and a Philadelphia roll. When I went to eat it, I noticed immediately that the Philadelphia had neither salmon nor cream cheese. It ended up being an eel roll, but it was delicious and probably better than the Philadelphia roll would have been. As others have pointed it, it’s VERY cheap, but tastes very fresh. I’d highly recommend it.

This is the best place to order platters. They are affordable and fresh. Everytime I have had a party this is the place I order from.
