I would not encourage African Americans to do business at this store. I visited the store over the weekend. I was appalled at the way the white employee followed me around in the store like I was a criminal. It’s the common situation or dilemma of shopping while you’re black. What a clown. He did not know that I was a judge and a minister. I should not have had to reveal my identity. Pretending you’re restocking while I am browsing through items in only the aisles where I am located does not cut it for me. I know a racist when I see one. Ordinarily I would have walked out of the store and left the items on the counter. But I resisted the impulse and bought several CDs that were $ 5 or $ 7.99. I wanted to take advantage of the deep discount. Nonetheless, I refrained from buying much more because I knew what was going on. That was the store’s substantial loss in sales.
