Fresh pizza, cafeteria style. I love it. Thick, doughy Sicilian-style squares of pizza heaven. The lines are occasionally long, but they move quickly. Some fools will order salads or pastas which take time to prepare, but the pizza is hot and kept right up front, so just wave your arms, have them slap it on a plate, and skip the line. It’s probably worth mentioning that by the late afternoon the pizza may be stale. So get it early. N.B. The staff are engaged, but it doesn’t seem to be anyone’s responsibility to operate the register. Every time a customer tries to pay it comes as a shock, and the staff flutters around until someone agrees to run the transaction. It’s bizarre. The place is busy enough to have one person dedicated to the register.
