I normally wouldn’t review this, but I had a really great customer service experience here last week that I thought should be mentioned. After dropping my cell phone on the hard floors of Southpark Mall and shattering the screen, I was desperate to get the cheapest smartphone replacement that my carrier(Virgin Mobile) offered. Instead of going through the painful process of trying to find what I was looking for at Best Buy(again), I decided to try Radioshack. At that moment, they were having a sale on the LG Optimus V for Virgin Mobile and I figured it was worth a try. This experience was a complete 180 from the one I had had a year earlier at Best Buy. I got to the store(which was empty) and was greeted by Chris. Chris had the phone ready to buy and checked it out quickly. Instead of stopping there, he offered to try to move my contacts and texts from my old phone to my new phone and set it all up with Virgin Mobile’s TERRIBLE customer service. In 30 minutes, he had successfully done all of it(except for the texts… way too many to transfer). He was incredibly helpful and took the time to make sure everything was the way I wanted it. Even if the store had been full of customers, I feel confident that he would have helped us out then. It was much appreciated.
