If I could give a 0 star, I would. Do not, DONOT buy a mattress here. We purchased a mattress here less than 4 years ago and I literally want to set it on fire. It has sunk in multiple places, and we’ve even flipped it sideways. The red flag should have been the salesman, who just wanted us to sign on the dotted line and get out. They use technology companies have deemed obsolete years ago, have bought stock of all those old springs and stuff them in their mattresses. Yup. Don’t buy a Pinto. We went to Sleepy’s because we have been sleeping on our sleeping bags and are SICK of the stupid OMF mattress. Customer service was great and so was the selection. Can’t wait to get the new mattress tomorrow!!!

On the surface their mattresses appear to be a good quality although after a short time and many warranty repairs(I think we may have gotten a dud, I said hey it happens but they will make it right) the company suddenly states that the warranty has expired, obviously I was wrong. We had purchased 4 mattresses from them over a few year period and this is what they do to a customer who spends their hard earned money in their establishment, really? When our home burned down we had to replace all 5 of our beds, it wasn’t even a consideration to buy from them again, especially after my 11 year old son said«I don’t want a bed from that place that refuses to fix it, you know that place that’s on the tv all the time». So by not standing by their warranty they have lost all my business as well as anyone I know who is in the market, it also appears to me they have also lost the next generations business. I truly believe in supporting local business although, when a business doesn’t want to stand behind their warranty they are no longer competitive with the big brand names, the ones that have been around for many generations, those big companies that would rather repair or replace even when it’s not warranted just to protect their good name. Trust me, buy a big name from a national chain, in the long run you’ll be better off and you’ll be able to «get a good night sleep» knowing the big name products will be covered in the event of a problem.

When I was looking for a new mattress, I checked out all the big name players. the S words: Simmons, Sealy and Serta I couldn’t understand the costs for a one-sided mattress that you don’t have the option to flip and that is only guaranteed for a few years. Then I checked out the Original Mattress Factory. You’ve heard the commercials on TV… quality construction, made locally. Yes, they do make their mattresses at this location. They had just closed up the factory part for the day when I got there so I couldn’t see them actually making mattresses but the salesman was happy to show me how the mattresses were made and the inside of their mattress compared to one of the bigger names. Cost-wise, they are considerably less then the big names. The price includes boxspring and frame. I desperately needed a new frame. There’s a small delivery charge included. Compared to other furniture stores and delivery stores, I thought their delivery charge was very reasonable and they will even haul away your old mattress. And all their mattresses are still double sided so they will even send you emails on when it is time to flip your mattress. Pretty cool, huh? Well my only complaint was it took me a while to get used to my new mattress and I had to put a memory foam topper on it but I’m still satisfied with my mattress and will recommend OMF to anyone looking for a new mattress.
