The best white sauce/thick crust pizza in LA. I used to live in the LA Valley and went back today after 8 years And the pizza is still phenominal. The cheese is real and I love the sausage. It is greasy but is a great homemade pizza, highly recommended to anyone in the area.

Uncle Ernie’s was our choice for the 2016 Bandit Ultra Trail run and BOYWASIT A BIGHIT! Our challenge was to provide pizza for over 350 runners and 50 – 100 volunteers. We have had so many runner Race Reviews come in and each one commented on how delicious those pies were. Definitely recommend them!

I don’t even want to give this place one star but I need to for the sake of giving my feedback! Although the food maybe good it’s not worth the attitude you get back from them. Since it’s a self owned place they have no rule or policy when it comes to customer service. I walked in on my cell phone getting an order over my phone and when I was done he did t want to serve me. Of course I never and will never go back.

Only been to the actual location once. My bf works nearby and has brought home pizza from here a few times. The pizza from here is delicious! Hands down the best pizza in the valley and up there with the best pizza I’ve ever had period. I got a chance to go to the actual location last night and I wasn’t disappointed. The restaurant itself is small. You can tell they mostly do takeout orders as the woman working asked if we had called in when we started to order. I decided to get the fried chicken focaccia bread sandwich. My bf got the muffaleta, we also got a side of chicken wings. Everything was very good and fresh tasting. The chicken wings were a bit on the spicy side which I liked. My sandwich was good but a bit on the plain side and had very little chicken but it was still good overall. I liked my bf’s muffaleta better. I’m excited to go back and try more from their varied menu :)

We order from here at least twice a month, we love the pizza and wings. Also when delivered it usually is 40 mins or less. The pesto pizza is a must. It’s so delicious.

The pizza, no matter what pie, is always perfect. They always deliver in a timely manner and the order is always right. I love ordering pizza here. My absolute favorite is the Margarita Pizza. My boyfriend’s favorite is the pastrami pizza. I’ve lived all over the country and I’ve got to say– this is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. :) Never had a bad pie or a bad experience. The people that work there are all sweethearts. Crust is amazing– never hard, always soft. However, straight bread products like bread sticks or garlic bread are really not great… They’re always really hard. :/Maybe some people like it that way. It’s never burned or anything, it’s just way too hard for me. Overall: 4.5. Pizza is perfect, but I can’t get over how the hard the straight bread products are.

I absolutely love this place! My boyfriend lives down the street from this place and we come in regularly. We normally get the meat lovers pizza and antipasto salad, but today we decided to try a pesto pasta. Both the pizza and the salad were delicious as always. The reason I gave this place 4 stars was because the pesto pasta was tasteless. It was very disappointing as we had to add mountains of salt and parmesan cheese to make it taste descent. But in spite of this, this place will remain a favorite.

So I thought I already reviewed this place. This is our place for Pizza. We’ve tried many others, but settled with this one. I love the California salad, decadence. My wife likes the wings. We order online and haven’t had any problems i can remember. I also love the pastrami pizza, but that’s just me, my kids don’t. My daughter gets the meat lovers.

Ordered a small vegetarian combo with pesto for delivery. Was told delivery time was about 40 – 45 mins the delivery guy came right around that time. When he handed me the pizza the bottom of the box was very damp. I immediately opened the pizza and everything was soggy. I took the pizza out the box to reheat it in the oven and to my disappointment the bottom of the box was completely damp with oil(as seen in the pic). How can a veggie pizza be so oily?! Is that even possible? The pizza was not good. You can’t taste the pesto, veggies were cut very thin, barely any cheese, and pizza WAS tasteless. They charged me 18.75 including delivery for a small veggie pizza which is ridiculous. Will never order from here again! I will stick to mulberrys and número uno from now on.

I asked the guy who answered the phone what the specials were and he said…“um…the same ones we have had all week.” I had never called before so that was annoying… it was like I had to pry the info out of him. I ordered a large cheese pizza and it was so overcooked… basically burnt… I mean the cheese in the middle of the pizza was completely dry and crunchy because it had been so overcooked… the flavor of the dew spots on each slice that were not burned were OK and probably would have been good if not burned… They should be ashamed for sending that out of the kitchen!!! I will stick with pizza ola from now on.

Their Pesto Pizza is amazing! We substitute the sliced roma tomatoes with sundried tomatoes instead and add pepperoni to it and food-coma, we see each other again! We also tried their meat lasagna and it was a decent portion — good for 3 people really. Full flavor and its one of those meals that you can eat happily for leftovers!

Little whole in the wall pizza joint. Upon entering, I was surprised how hopping they were on a Thursday night. Half of there tables were full and their delivery guys were in and out. We got the garlic pizza, so good. Granted we love garlic. We finished it all, and it left us wanting more. Cannot wait to go back! Reasonably priced too! And nice employees.

Decided to eat in here after seeing decent reviews. Ordered the margarita pizza on thin crust and the pastrami on regular crust. Two medium pizzas for $ 40, expensive. Kitchen definitely is not what you would consider clean but i did show up near their closing time. Pizzas were good but definitely not great which should have been for the money. Got less than what I’ve paid for.

Everything I ordered from here tasted pretty good. Calzones are huge! Delivery is always on time. I ordered few large boxes of pizza the day before the delivery date, and they showed up the next day right on time.

I just stopped in for another great meal at Uncle Ernies! I had been craving their pastrami pizza and salads. Not only did I get an amazing pizza to share with friends, but my salad was perfect. They don’t skimp on toppings for their salads or pizza like big business places. Uncle Ernies is a true mom and pop store, and really has amazing food. I try to take my friends here any time I stop in so they can try it out.

I came here because I had to eating something before meeting someone. I’ve known this place existed for a few years so I figured it’s good if it’s still open. I went in and they had a special, $ 5 for an individuals spicy buffalo chicken pizza. That’s what I got. Other single person pizzas were 8.50ish. They took my credit card happily. The cashier told me I can fill my water again myself if I like. The soda fountain is a little behind the counter. So I waited for a bit and needed to go to the bathroom. I asked the cashier and she pointed me to the back of the store where the bathroom is. I washed my hands and got out. The decoration of the place is nice. Little league baseball team photos, and unconventional business wisdom on the walls. It was nicely decorated. Someone took there time. It took 10 minutes for my pizza to be ready. From the beginning it was only me. When my pizza was ready, 4 other people came in the shop and sat down. It is fairly small. I advise to not bring a group of 20. I sat at my table and had the pizza. ITWASREALLYGOOD. THESPICYBUFFALOCHICKENPIZZAHITTHESPOT. The cheese was so perfect. The pizza was warm. The ingredients were warm. I’ll be a repeat customer for sure.
