My husband has been waiting nearly 3 months for his impressions to come in, It’s absolutely unheard of. They keep giving him the run around everytiime he asks questions.

Honestly, I wish there was a zero star rating. I would not return here if you paid me. I have been here several times and there is always a long wait while they do about 10 cleanings at once in the same room. But this visit took the cake. I arrived at 11:20 for my youngest son’s 11:30 appointment for fillings. My oldest was also scheduled at 12:30. I was told that my 11:30 appt. was never entered into the system (by the brilliant scheduling person who I could barely understand) and they only had my oldest scheduled. I was told there was no way to squeeze them both in (because they had about 100 other patients as usual). I was obviously upset but said fine — just see my youngest for the 12:30 slot because he is the one in pain. So after waiting an hour they tell me I am now getting bumped up to 1:00 because the dentist is so busy. At 1:15 (after being there almost 2 HOURS) I ask how much longer I have to wait and I am told, «Don’t worry, she is finishing up with this patient and ONLY HAS ONE MORE AHEAD OF YOU!» We had to leave. Unfortunately a 3 HOUR wait was not going to work with my schedule on my only day off. No one was seen and now we need to find a new dentist.

I have been to this location for my toddler several times. They are never on time, on average I end up waiting 45 minutes to a hour past my scheduled appointment before getting started. The staff are friendly, I have no complaints about the care he receives. But my time is valuable and for this reason I will not be returning.

I came with a severe inflammation and warned the attendant that I sometimes did not react to the anesthetics. They tortured me for a full hour, with me literaly screaming on occasion, and I left the place with a terrible bloody mouth, and infection, and thankfully found North End Community Medical Center where Dr. Starr (no longer there) cured me in two visits.
Kool Smiles in Chelsea was the second worse hellish experience in dental care that I’ve had (the other was a butcher in Croatia!). Beware…
