Just stopped by cuz I wanted something to drink after Garrett popcorn. They have a lot of drink choices. Lots of teas. I like the décor. You can see into they back that looks like a lab for tea leaves. I got a jasmine green tea with mango. The mango syrup was pretty good with cane sugar. They have lots of places to plug in and study. Just didnt feel clean. The tables were kinda sticky and the trash cans were full. If they kept it more clean i would have given this place 4 stars.

I like that the tea’s at Argo are not only unique but don’t rely on super sugary flavors to be good. Rather, they depend on the natural sweetness of the tea and the fruits that they include. You can choose from the flavors they have or make your own drink — I made a raspberry black tea and they added a fresh orange, which gave it an extra pop of flavor. I also really like the MojiTea, a clever twist on a mojito drink. It was slightly tangy but not too strong in flavor. Generally if I were to describe drinks at Argo in one word it would be «Refreshing.»

Decent, but not anything super amazing. The matcha tea was less flavorful than others I have had, and the croissants were too buttery. But theres a lot of options, so exploring the menu is a good idea.

After a meal of too much Chicago deep dish, I was suffering from some carb coma and indigestion. My cell phone was also in need of a charge as well, so I went in search of a coffee and tea place in which I could help both issues. I thought first to go to a Starbucks. But unlike in Seattle, they aren’t on every street. Walking through The Loop, I came across Argo Tea. I had passed this tea shop a couple times walking in the area. Looking inside, the place seemed interesting so I decided to enter. I asked one of the staff members if they had any power plugs which they said yes, so I decided to order a drink here. It turns out Argo Tea is a tea chain with shops in several big Eastern cities including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago and New York. The menu is reminiscent of Starbucks that some of the reviews below call this the Starbucks of tea which seems on the money. You will find all types of tea drinks here including iced tea, tea lattes and even bubble tea. They also offer baked goods and sandwiches among the food offerings. I asked for drink suggestions for my indigestion. One of the suggestions was the ginger peach which sounded good so I got a medium iced ginger peach tea($ 2.75). After I got my drink, I took a seat. Indeed the shop had power plugs to charge my cell phone which was great. They also have free Wi-Fi, but it appears you need a password. Plenty of seating here so this is a good place to work or study from. There is actually two floors here if you can’t find seating on the first floor. My iced ginger peach tea was refreshing and it helped to ease my indigestion issue. I did notice on the website that it has black tea which has a high caffeine content that I wasn’t expecting. Otherwise I may have opted for rooibos instead. If you are looking for a place to chill in The Loop for a hour or two, Argo Tea is a nice spot. It offers a Starbucks-like tea menu without the crowds of people that you encounter at Starbucks looking for a coffee fix.

Nice place but very disappointed about not having whipped cream. How can they offer hot chocolate but not have whipped cream?!? We got a Iced Vanilla Matcha Tea Latte with bubbles… they should change the description of bubbles because those were not bubbles, these were square jellies. The«iced» in the drink was an understatement. Barely any ice and the drink was room temperature. The drink itself lacked flavor. I’m still disappointed about no whipped cream! Grrr!

Wow! So walking around in Chicago we stumbled upon this tea place. We all quickly realized it was more than just tea, plus, there was such a big variety it was awesome. It is basically tea heaven so instead of having high sugar teas you can indulge in these fresh and straight from plant teas. The location here is also very nice, they have plenty of seating for custormers and there is also a nice lounge area. They sell tea infusers and everything you need to make teas. We tried one of their iced tea options and it was very good(sorry cant remember the name) and tasted fresh. I would definitely come back to this place!

Great place to study or sit for a quick drink. It’s got wifi, two floors, tons of tables and near plenty of CTA stops. I wish there were more outlets though. I don’t know why I didn’t come here sooner.

I love Argo Tea and will choose it over Starbucks, and I have for many years! It’s pretty standard across locations. This place’s concept is all tea based – hot or cold – with a few foods items, coffee items, and cool retail products. You also have to love the free samples, which are out almost all of the time! My recommendation for a go-to pick-me-up in the mornings is the Earl Grey Crème. For taste, don’t water it down too much with less than 2% milk and get it extra hot for your cold walks. Wish they had stoppers like Starbucks, though, for the occasional commuter spills. You must also try(in order of favorites) the hot Ginger Peach Spice, cold MojiTea, cold make-your-own Bubble Tea(recommend white, vanilla syrup, coconut milk, but nata de coco pieces were not notable), hot/cold PomegranaTea, hot/cold Hibiscus Tea Sangria, hot Mate’ Latte, and hot make-your-own Teapuccino! The hot Carolina Honey, hot Green Tea Ginger Tea, and hot Matcha Latte, are a more bland. Random tip; add ginger shots to anything if you need to clear your throat in winter or have a stomach ache(with a light-sugar tea drink). They can customize and create almost any drink you ask for, so just ask. They’ve made me good mixed Sparklers before! I’ve yet to try the bubble tea and coffees there. The food is okay, but I’d buy somewhere else for a better taste and price.

I’m a huge fan! The staff is super nice. I ordered a large drink on Valentine’s Day and didn’t know there was a buy one, get one promo. They politely informed me of the deal, and made small talk while I was waiting. The drinks are delicious, and priced competitively. I especially liked my Chai latte. Though I like everything I’ve tried there so far. Also, who doesn’t love free samples?!? They always have two to try near the entrance. I’ll be sure to return!

I love Argo tea. This is a particularly amazing location because there are two floors of quiet wonderfulness that I can slink around on with my precioussss. Their tea is why I come, however. They have everything. No, they have MORE than everything plus their tea gadgets and paraphernalia overwhelm my common sense every time and end up in my bag against my will without fail. I got a brewed green tea with a ginger twist this time but I will be ninety five before I’m able to try everything they offer. It was fabulous!

Nice tea — quite pricy tho. The tea shop location is at the heart of the city. The service is friendly. The atmosphere in this place is okay. Free wifi for 2 hours(with a voucher)

I came here and tried the drinks. It doesn’t come with boba which is what I’m used to, but jelly. They have a few macarons that I had to try. I tried the pistachio and raspberry and they were both delicious; the macaron was chewy and just the right consistency. I really liked the tea I bought some boxes for home

I miss this spot so much. I used to go here every chance I got or the one in the Willis Tower. Too bad I moved far away I have yet to find a nice spot like this one. I may need to take a trip just for the Raspberry Sparkling tea. The employees were always happy and helpful. Always had a smile on their face. I bought this nice glass tea set from there for $ 20.I recommend to give someone who loves tea something from this place. I loved this place so much that for my birthday my co-workers got me a mug set which was really sweet.

If you have always needed a tea but couldn’t find a place that specializes in it then look no further. In most cities you can find coffee joints without an issue but just tea done right is another story. The menu is unique and if all else fails just make your own. Also try the pastries as they are delicious.

5 Stars for excellent service. We stopped in on a Sunday and decided to try the Jasmine Teamosa. We tasted it and couldn’t taste the jasmine green tea over the orange juice, so they made another for us and reduced the amount of orange juice, all at no charge. Great service. However I can’t recommend the Teamosa, the orange juice, even at low levels, completely overpowers the tea and ends up tasting like watered down orange juice.

This was my first experience with Argo, which as an out-of-towner seems to make more sense. The selection is a bit intimidating, but the staff is helpful and ready to assist newbies with pairings. I ended up going with a int chocolate concoction that hit the spot on an unseasonably warm winter’s day. Quiet enough to have a meeting; it looked like someone was getting interviewed when I was there. The cookie by the cashier was irresistible and made for a good post-drink snack. Will return if in the area.

This is the coffee shop I always attend while in Chicago. They have plenty of allergy free options and a friendly staff. Sometimes they get extremely busy though and a long line forms. Considering its called«argo tea» it would be great if they had a larger tea selection. I always enjoy my visit though and their tea/coffee concoctions are usually delicious.

The offerings is just like any other Argo Tea, but I mostly like this place since it has plenty of seating & opens very late. They are open till 11PM on Saturdays and 9PM on Sundays — which is just ABSURD(in a positive way) for the loop. This is becoming my go to place to wait around /do a casual meet up downtown when nothing but bars are open. I mean, you can’t really hear people in a bar anyway. So last Saturday night when I just really wanted to get out of the apartment for a bit but also not wander around too much, guess where I ended up at?

I was originally looking for an Asian boba(tapioca balls or pearls) place in the Loop area and somehow I ended up here instead. Basically Argo Tea = Teavana Store + comfortable seating + less sugary drinks + replace boba with nata de coco. Argo Tea is a small tea franchise originally started in Chicago and now it has stores scattered across Chicago, New York, Boston, and other East Coast /Midwestern cities. The«bubble teas» at Argo Tea contains nata de coco(a type of coconut jelly). Others drinks options are Teappuccinos(tea + flavor + milk), Tea Sparkles(tea + flavor + sparkling water), and Tea Squeezes(tea + lemonade). You can also order your drink with 2% milk instead of whole milk! *** Earl Grey Vanilla Crème(classic black tea infused with citrusy bergamot and sweet vanilla, small with 2% milk, $ 3.35): Lightly sweetened drink with excellent balance between tea and vanilla flavors — overall a very good drink. *** I’ve always like tea places that don’t use too much sugar in their drinks and I think Argo Tea has done a good job doing that. A nice tea shop to stop by and grab a quick drink(or study here).

Considering the address, I expected to pay a lot more for coffee and baked goods. But the prices were likely cheaper than Starbucks. As an added bonus, Argo is open on weekends when most other area coffee shops are closed. However, on weekends, they run on a skeleton crew, so there might be a wait to get your drink.

Whenever I go to Chicago in the morning, I drop by this place to get the amazing bubble tea. Argo tea is amazing. They have tons of varieties of flavors in tea and their sandwiches are fresh and awesome. Many people drop in here to grab their fresh tea while going to their respective workplaces. My personal favorite: mango flavored bubble tea with 2% milk. But nowadays they are not serving the mango flavor which is disappointing but the rest are always worth a try. I have tried peach and coconut flavor till now which were fantastic. There are more flavors and I am counting on them. Tip: use their app for rewards and free teas.

Consistent service, consistent product and drink quality. Location is gorgeous and right in the middle of everything. They do carry almond milk and staff seems pretty knowledgeable with gluten free items and healthier options. The staff is also willing to let you try a tea blend and is very helpful. As a customer, try to respect their time, as this particular location gets very busy.

Probably my favorite place to chill after a weekend full of fun. The space/seating was nice and wasn’t as busy as other Argo Tea shops. Make sure to ask for the Bathroom pass code. They have more than 1 stall! … they serve Bubble Tea. What?! Definitely got it. I think I had the Green Tea with Coconut syrup & soy milk. Something like that. If you go in ask, ask the folks what is one of the most popular types of Bubble Tea drinks that has to do with green tea. At first, I was hesitant since Bubble Tea is more of a thing at an Asian Dessert place, but eh, what have I got to lose. I needed a pick me up. Service was good. Friendly people. One of them remembered my name when I went back to the front to get a snack. I was a barista once and my memory sucked with names, so. I was kind of impressed this one lady got my name quickly, haha. The snack(cookie) was good. Nomnom. Come here if you’re wanting to relax for a second. I would… again.

I loved this place. I’m always very happy to get anything from here because everything tastes good. We came here with my family this Sunday evening and I loved how the young lady helped us. I love Argo Tea. Why can’t there be a location in California? Sigh… On my first visit, I ordered the hibiscus apple tea sparkler drink. It was lightly sweetened and very refreshing. The customer service is great and all the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I love their extensive tea menu and loose leaf teas available for purchase. There were also samples available in the front featuring their seasonal drinks. I will definitely have to come back to try other teas off their menu.
