Living in the city we miss out the joys of free parking to spend an afternoon at the book store. It was so enjoyable to see the kids reading for 3 hours and not playing on their gadgets. I shall choose to forget that it was a big price to pay since I spent close to $ 200 on their various selections and enrolled myself in Barnes and Noble membership ;). It might become the new favorite hangout.

I’m an avid bookstore fan, I’d even consider myself a bookstore connoisseur if I didn’t feel like a pompous as when I said that. Whenever I travel, I always check out the local book store/vendor/used store spot. It’s always a lot of fun for me and I’d have to say this book store is pretty great. If you’re into sci-fi fantasy at all, they have a huge selection. A lot of new inventory all the time too. It just a Starbucks but the café area is pretty solid too, you’re overlooking elston and a bunch of books so you can’t really go wrong.

Small Starbucks with great coffee and sandwich and pastry items as well as tea. No outlets to use to recharge. Too small to park for long periods. Validated parking only works for 1 ½ hours, so set your alarm!!! Friendly staff. Fairly clean, but not pristine.

It’s ok. You get free wifi, but there are no powersources available in the café which is a problem. On top of that, the place gets busy and noisy, which is annoying when you’re trying to work. I am not likely to go back there.

For a little bookstore café, this was surprisingly very nice. It’s nothing special, but there was a large area, with a lot of seating. The café/snack bar area sold starbucks coffees and such, but also had some nice deli-style sandwiches and soups. So nice to have an offering BESIDES pastries! I like pastries, but sometimes you’d like real food, and they actually have a selection – including vegetarian options. I ordered a bowl of the mediterranean lentil soup. I had them pack it to go, since I wasn’t sure I was hungry enough to eat the whole thing, but it was so good, I couldn’t stop eating it. Ironically, I was flipping through cookbooks while I was in the café, and darn if I didn’t look for something like it to be in the books! haha! The selection of desserts looked really good, too, and I wish I could have justified getting a beautiful slice of the Godiva chocolate cheesecake. The two people working there were nice and friendly, the area kept pretty clean, and overall, I wish I lived closer, because that would be a nice place to pop over to on a quiet day, to read, shop, and have a nice snack/lunch in a quiet, relaxing setting.(I mean, who doesn’t love a bookstore!?)

This is a normal Starbucks in a Barnes and Noble. They’re very friendly here. It’s a nice relaxing space to read or people watch.

This place is an absolute zoo on Saturdays, so maybe my review is biased, but I didn’t care for the fact that there were kids running everywhere and the parking lot was a mess. Otherwise, more or less your typical B&N.

Great location to sit back and have a coffee. Plenty of tables too and free Internet. Only issue I have is that there is no place to plug in. They definitely want you out of here when your battery dies. The staff is very friendly. It is located on the second floor with large windows and a great view of the street action. In fact, there goes one of those shopping cart guys loaded full of metal. Do those ever fall over on car? Anyone? Bueller? It always freaks me out when one is next to my car because I’m sure they don’t have insurance. This location serves Starbucks but it is not a traditional Starbucks. If you want that there is one across the street, in fact I can even see it from here. This location also has a selection of sandwiches, coffee drinks and smoothies too. Barnes and Noble also has validated parking for an hour and half but don’t cut it close because the clocks at the front gate and the exit are off by a few minutes as my wife found out on one visit. She had to fight with the lady at the gate and she finally gave in and let her out.

Sat inside the B&N bookstore, this place is a nice internet café that serves up your typical Sbux coffee drinks… however, it also includes food above and beyond the snacks you might expect at Starbucks. Nice and spacious and sat on the second floor you get a good view(out of the floor to ceiling windows) at the comings and goings down on Webster/Clybourn Ave’s.
