Mom and I had lunch here recently while out shopping. I had the CHINESECHICKEN salad — organic baby greens, romaine lettuce, julienne vegetables, crisp wontons, mandarin oranges, toasted almonds, sesame seeds, cilantro, ginger sesame dressing. I have had this salad before at other Nordstrom’s and have always enjoyed it. I love the crispy wontons on top. Good spicy dressing. Mom had the PEPPERONI&MUSHROOM pizza(sans mushrooms) — sweet tomato sauce, mozzarella and aged provolone cheeses, fresh basil, oregano. She really liked her pizza. It was a good size and had thin crust. Our server was very attentive and brought refills often. She also brought us our brownie to go as we were too full to eat it at lunch. She also asked if we wanted to go cups for our drinks. Definitely a nice touch.

Stopped for a bite and a glass of wine. Service from Antonette was fantastic — very attentive and personable. Thanks for a nice, late quiet lunch :)

Wow. Their Carmel Macchiato is sooo damn good. Nice and sweet with lots of whip cream.

Ok. I had an argument with my wife here(not why it’s gotten two stars by the way) She will not have it that on the whole, Food in the US uses more salt. This was game, set and match to me(I’m writing this hours after the event and out of eyesight of her, man of the house that I am) Saltiest tomato soup ever. Like couldn’t eat it. Gets 2 stars as the staff were good, but guys, seriously, did someone knock over the salt into the soup by mistake in the kitchen?

Food was good and fresh. I ordered risotto, and they assumed shrimp risotto, which I didn’t see, but the chicken risotto that was on special. Simple misunderstanding. Manager promptly came over to apologize. All staff was delightful.
