Amazingly cute little candy store! There are a ton of options and the staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Their chocolates in the glass case have the most fun names and are so tasty — you should definitely check them out.

I have been to this store many times and have yet to be disappointed! Though only the heartless could be disappointed with such a cute candy shop. Their selection leaves little to be missed, and the window displays always get me to wander inside whether it was a part of the trip or not. Great location and service! Keep it up!

Every neighborhood needs a place like Candyality. The concept combines the perfect kind of sugary nostalgia with the straightforward pragmatism of bulk mix-and-match sweets. Go get your candy personality read, stock up at the licorice bar, and eat a few handfuls of the fresh, homemade popcorn. The only thing I’d like is for the owners to install some seating so that I can pop open a cane-sugar Coke and hang out for a half hour or so. Highly recommended.

Anti Semetic employee: At the checkout today the girl working the register said my name was the same as her mothers(Judith) when I asked if her middle name was Ann she said yes, I asked is she was(MOT) member of the tribe meaning Jewish as Judith Annvery common. After I explained what MOT meant the girl stated«well everyone thought we were Jewish because we have big noses» After my mouth dropped open I told the cashier to stop talking, what a horrible stereotype, abd she kept laughing. I left the store in tears called the store to ask to speak with the owner, hopefully will hear back. Will never go into this store again, that girl needs sensitivity training. Will anti– sematism ever stop

Store looks cute and concept is neat, but prices are high considering the common candy that they sell. Since there are other options at grocery stores, convenience stores, etc. for the same type of candy, the extra high prices are not worth the other amenities they try to offer. I suggest either get higher end candy or lower the prices.

A great addition to the neighborhood. When Candyality downsized their Southport location, I was bummed at first, until I visited the new shop down there and realized that they still had all of the stuff that I liked. You don’t need wide aisles to offer a multitude of sugary delights that cater to every type of sweet tooth. Not to mention the sunny attitudes and nostalgic whimsy. I mean, who doesn’t love candy and happy colors? Anyway, same principle at work here – they fit well in this corner location and suit the neighborhood perfectly. One day last month I was walking down the street and encountered a staffer standing outside offering samples of mango gummy bears. «Why, thank you. Hell yes, I will eat a mango gummy bear, and while I’m here, why don’t I saunter right in and see what else tickles my fancy today?» Those tricks work! This shop has omitted the large rack of bulk Jelly Bellys like they had at the old Southport store. That’s a shame, but as long as they always have Charleston Chews and the Table of All Possible Licorice, I am a happy camper.

This candy shoppe is a welcome edition to this amazing neighborhood. The licorice bar is so cool and they have every candy I hold near and dear to my heart! The staff is energetic and friendly! They are well on their way to being one of my regular haunts. Keep up the good work! See you soon!

While the atmosphere was cute and nostalgic, the prices were outrageous! When I said that the price I was given was outrageous, the only response was«So you want to learn your candy personality?» I doubt this store will be around much longer.

Super expensive, and the candy I got(sugar daddy pops) were stale and I didn’t notice until I got home, but some of wrapped candy was open. At $ 11.96 a pound, I expect fresh candy. I was really disappointed. The staff on the other hand, super nice and helpful. I personally won’t be going back.

There are lot of places that you can find bulk Jelly Bellies and bagged Gummi Bears, but not so many places you can find candy cigarettes, 5th Ave. and Charleston Chew bars and bulk wine Gummis. Candyality is just such a place, and now Andersonville has its own branch of this Chicago chain of yumminess. They’re generally open late-ish here, so that you can pick up a fix, in between bar hopping. That reminds me, need a carton of those aforementioned candy cigarettes to take with me to Simon’s. See you at the end of the bar!
