Excellent customer service. Workers are so friendly and I felt like they all truly cared about the restaurant. Their burgers are delicious and has a taste that other burgers don’t really have. Shakes are good and atmosphere is really warm and welcoming. Definitely coming back.

Everyone on NPU’s campus talks how good charcol is so I decided to try it out. The first time I tried it I ordered their Chicken Delight Special which is what my friend told me to get. I wasn’t really fond of it. The chicken was dry and cold. I came here a couple more times and was disappointed both times. I think the food is overpriced for the quality it is. I would rather spend my $ 8 – 10 somewhere else.

This little number is in my hood… I can walk to or drive to… and admit that I’ve tried a limited range of products. PROS: Great cooked breakfast at decent price(bacon, eggs, hb’s and toast) for under $ 6. I’m not a connoisseur of Italian Beef but they have one of my favorites… add mozzarella, double dip, hot peppers… yum! Service is usually friendly and prompt. CONS: Fries are very basic, usually a little soft(I like crisp) so I won’t be ordering them again. Main complaint is EVERYTHINGISSERVEDINSTYROFOAM!!! They have been at this location for a number of years and need to step into the 21st century and be a better citizen regarding the serving products they use. Can you say«recycle»???

Terrible food and terrible service. The owner or manager is always yelling at the employees in front of the customers. Un professional!

I have given this place several chances to redeem themselves as people do say they enjoy it here, but my experience is very different. The food is always very bland and you can tell they only use the cheapest of ingredients. Staff are always very rude, it is as if you are always interrupting their personal conversations. They are more concerned about having fun at work than serving the customers. Very dated dinning area and not always clean. I’ve given up on these guys, will never return.

So I’m having a bad day & my mother decides to plan a lunch date at this charcoal delights location on foster. My God was it ridiculous. My mom & I walked up to the register & the girl didn’t even acknowledge us. So she says hi, and my mom replies hello how are you she replies terrible it’s just so terrible here. Who wants someone taking my order with that kinda attitude, but ok. I should’ve just order a soup and hot dog like I originally planned but, my mother said no get something out of the ordinary so I got the Greek chicken dinner and it was awful!!! The potatos were rotten you could see the WHOLE potatos were black, the chicken was dry and RAW, the rice was cold only good thing was the pita bread and cream of chicken soup. They forgot my moms cheese on her burger and cheddar fries, and forgot our drinks. The runner who delivers food was very nice and we received our money back for the $ 12 old greek chicken. I’ll be back only for soup.

I have not been to this place in years due to a bad burger. Do you think that I learn? Nope. Thought I would give them a second chance after all this time has passed. The burger was chewy! Could not finish it. Lettuce and onion all cut up so that when you go to eat it they fall off. Maybe they did not want to be with the burger! Not worth the time, cost or calories. NEXT!

Very nice chicken kebab pita, excellent flavor, fresh ingredients, but the chicken didn’t have much in the way of a charcoal taste.

Great place to eat when you need convenience. However their chicken salad has not been served fresh a number of times and their charcoal chicken platter is probably the most driest chicken I’ve ever ate in my life.

I drove by this place and I wanted to try something that was in the neighborhood. I ordered the cheeseburger combo and my total was close to $ 8. The fries were fresh and they tasted ok. I requested grilled onions on my cheeseburger. Other toppings on the cheeseburger include ketchup, mustard, delicious pickles, cheese, and onions(which I requested to be grilled). The bun itself was buttery, soft, and perfect! Their cheeseburger was much tastier than Portillo’s cheeseburgers in my opinion! I was pleasantly surprised and fulfilled from this meal. Every bit was well worth it!

Overpriced but decent food combined with truly awful customer service. Food: Decent Chicago burgers and dogs type place. Nothing that will let you down but nothing you will remember forever. Prices: For standard Chicago burgers and dogs this is on the more expensive end of the scale. I got a medium coke, Cheeseburger and Cheese Fries and ended up paying around 11 bucks. Customer Service: I have been here a few times and EACH time have had a routine customer service issue turned into a big-time production. Employees are often rude, incompetent and incapable of admitting wrongdoing. The restaurant fails the minimum standards of customer service, like listening to an order, getting it right, displaying contriteness and greeting people. All of the these experiences in this review are from inside the restaurant, so cruddy drive-thru microphones aren’t an excuse for consistently screwing up an order. I also am a native English speaker, and have received worldwide renown, fame and monetary rewards for my diction. They screwed up my order on my first visit to the restaurant. It was a simple order of a burger and fries that mysteriously morphed into a hot dog and ice cream. This was not a mere mixup, as in something the other table ordered. Upon checking my receipt I saw that they showed me as having ordered a hot dog and ice cream; a combination that I am thoroughly opposed to on philosophical grounds. So the person taking the order failed in their basic task of BEINGTHEPERSONTAKINGTHEORDER. Correcting the order was left up to me as the employees steadfastly insisted that I ordered what they said I did.(As a person who had worked in multiple restaurants I loathe making customer service complaints. I will not however eat hot dogs and ice cream. In public at least.) The next time, I ordered a cappuccino.(Don’t ask why but I did.) Instead I received a coke. Told them I did not order a cappuccino. They told me I ordered a coke. I corrected them. They tried to correct me. Wow. Finally, the owner came over. He was brusque, unapologetic and seemed as though he wanted me to apologize for wasting his time. Then they asked me to cough up more money for the cappuccino. Wow times two. This uninterrupted stream of incompetence happened again upon my next visit only insert cheese fries for cappuccino. This third time, I knew there was going to be trouble. Upon walking in the restaurant, the employee was disappointed at having to put down her smartphone. I must have interrupted an awesome snapchat session with that boy in Algebra who totally digs her for her brain. I approached the register. She stared blankly at me. I offered a hello, unsure anymore that I was actually in a business that served money for food. She then offered an annoyed hello that made me literally feel guilty. As I was ordering I noticed her attention wandering; she was failing to make any eye contact and actually began talking to other employees while I was ordering. Noticing this, I repeated my order THREE times; in plainly spoken English not in my usual morse code. Upon sitting down I discovered that, as I feared, she screwed up the order. I told the server that I had ordered cheese fries. She went back to the kitchen and came back out to tell me I had not. I told her I had. She then hurriedly went back to «order» the cheese. She brought out the cheese and then told me I owed an additional 2 dollars. I coughed it up(why I don’t know) and she came out a third time to give me my change, which I had already told her to keep the second time.(It must be noted this person was nicer, if no more competent.) Summary: The employees are not schooled in the basics of customer service. I do not believe that asking an employee to say hello and listen to a customer’s order is asking too much. I also do not believe it is too much to ask that upon discovering a problem; the employees should be contrite and act quickly to remedy the problem. I was only asking for the items I ordered. I was not asking for elaborate accommodations and specialty orders. Getting an order right is food service 101. (I know; I’ve worked in multiple restaurants. I am well aware of what is normal baseline customer service and what is considered to be going above and beyond. I wouldn’t call this passable service by any stretch.) Note: 1 bad employee is not enough for me to give a bad review, but when every person I encounter in three straight visits is either rude or incompetent I consider that to be endemic, not an outlier. Not only are the employees not schooled in being polite and getting an order right, they conduct themselves in a manner that says«I don’t give a blank and how dare you interrupt my day.»

It’s a place where you can find food, almost anytime of the day. Don’t get me wrong. This place, in my opinion, has better food than what offers in the McDonald’s across the street. They don’t have amazing deals in their entrees and combos, but if you have to eat and want something to fill in the stomach, then you’ve got it! The patty melt was passable; the amount of cheese was adequate to make it «gooey» enough to hold the two(2) pieces of bread together. Hubby’s tuna sandwich looked like what it should be. There’s really no certain criteria to judge food like this, unless you have a legit compliant for some health and sanitation concerns. If employees were eating their own food, then what you’ve consumed should have no major problem. They do have a drive-thru and a plenty of parking. Do me a favor: walk in and order with an employee face-to-face. Why do you think obesity is a big deal in this country? People can’t walk or refuse to walk, for two(2) freakin’ seconds in their lives? You guys… let me tell ya… that’s trippin’! By parking your vehicle and then walking in, you can avoid the wrong orders, mis-communications, or other unnecessary glitches. No one sounds great via the drive-thru speaker, not even radio personnel. Anyways, it’s a fast-food establishment there’s really no surprises with what you get. Nevertheless, the business hours are awesome here, so if you have a job with irregular hours, this place can be your saving grace. Wifi works great! So thank you.

I almost always get the chicken kabob. I don’t like fast food. But the chicken kabob is always tender, flavorful and fantastic. Doesn’t take like fast food at all. Really, it’s hard to find non-fast food at fast food prices, fast food speed and fast food convenience. So great.

So this is the third time I asked for a breakfast steak sandwhich no cheese mayo only. Seems simple. First time got the sandwhich with everything on it, okay so pick stuff off. Second time it comes with cheese… and I mean lots on cheese so I drive back and they give me a new one, Today my hubbie drive the 10 minutes and brings back a sandwhich, with everything. After pulling everything off there are 2 very small very think pieces of meat which do not even cover the bread, REALLY, did ya think people want cheese, lettuce and tomato on bread. Will not be going back for breakfast. Service and quality of food has really declined over the last year.

I am 100% fine with business owners hiring employees that don’t speak perfect English. HOWEVER, please do not put those employees in charge of taking the drive through orders. I tried to order two burgers, the screen kept showing the employee was only trying to charge us for one. I tried to order two large fries, it was showing up as two small fries. I tried to explain to him that the order was wrong on the screen, but he was not understanding me and would take the order off and then reenter the exact same wrong order even after I had repeated my actual order several times. I had to drive away without getting anything because he was just not understanding me. I don’t know if I’ll be back anytime soon. It’s a pity, the food is pretty good here.

Really??? This afternoon I ordered lunch which was $ 19 and change: 8.19 meal with two orders of extra pita(.99 each) somehow added to more than double that! The older man in the light green shirt made it sound like a deal :/ This evening I went for a Greek sakad– I did NOT say chicken to the young girl! A VEGETARIAN dinner does not call fir chicken! Imagine my surprise to find meat on the salad. My friend wanted the Grecian chicken dinner but they were out… perhaps I should have taken it as a sign :’(and left then.
