I have nothing but good things to say about this place. My family has been going to Dutch Cleaners for years and I will keep going to them as long as they are around. They always remember me every time I come in. I have gotten many pairs of pants hemmed here and the woman who handles the hemming knows what she is doing. My pants have been tailored to perfection and the prices are fair. You get what you pay for and this place is quality.

The family of business owners here have shown me some of the most personally friendly customer service I have ever experienced! Yes, they have Greek accents — which may be difficult for few people, but I left here with only an impression of genuinely helpful and down to earth people! Not to mention they do AMAZING work. I had a zipper replaced in one of my favorite pair of pants and it looks flawlessly better than when I first bought them. I will definitely be back!

Although I never actually visited this establishment, I am reviewing based on the terrible customer service on the phone. I saw that they do tailoring and I needed a few pairs of dress pants shortened. I asked the heavily accented man on the phone how much it would be to get dress pants hemmed. He started yammering on about what kind of «dress» and how the tailor would have to tell me and how would he know, etc. I tried to tell him again at least 3 times that they are dress PANTS and he said «How I am supposed to know? 9, 11, 13, 14 dollars?! You have to ask tailor!». As I was once again, telling him that they are pants, he hung up on me… enough said.

I had a pant suit tailored here. The tailor was nice and friendly! They did a great job. My suit was ready when I went to pick it up. My suit fit great. Great pricing, I mean I had a lot done to it. I will come here again.

Let me tell you all. This place is all about personal customer service with a smile. Screw CD One Cleaners and their corporate business tactics! Stick with home grown local businesses that keep the neighborhood alive! As soon as I walked in, every single worker there greeted me with a smile and a hello. Quick to help with anything I needed and grateful for my business. The place has earned their stripes since they have been there for so long. It’s not the prettiest little business, but the most welcoming! Cash or check only, plenty of parking, good neighborhood. Even though this place is out of my way, I’m definitely going to have my clothes tailored and dry cleaned by them, and them only.

Ruined my clothes every time I brought it in. Now, I have to go all the way to the other side of town for alterations and dry cleaning because this place is terrible. Nice people, but less than satisfactory job on my dry cleaning.. .

I’ve taken clothes here for dry cleaning and alterations many times and they are always extremely friendly and fast. Family owned business, really nice people, always do a good job, and will do a very quick turnaround for you with a smile. Definitely give this nice family your business!

Greek business owners are the best. When I tell them I’m also Greek, they always give me a great deal, and try to introduce me to their spinster niece! Ah, to be single and in need of dry cleaning…

I have used this place once, but for a pretty big and varied dry cleaning order. They were very nice on intake, and seemed to do a nice job on the materials. I only gave them four stars because their prices seemed a little higher to me than I was used to. I used to live in Lakeview, and there was extreme competition between dry cleaners, so that could be part of it.
We will probably continue to use Dutch, since they are nice, they do good work, and their prices are not so high that it makes sense to go out of your way to avoid them.

I stopped at Dutch Cleaners for the first time last week. And I love them already! Everyone there is super nice and they did a great job with my clothes. When I picked up my clothes I was a dollar short of the total amount. I told the woman behind the counter that I’d run home and get it. She insisted it wasn’t a problem and that I could pay them the next time I came in. I received this wonderful treatment even though it was only my first visit there! I look forward to coming back here for all of my dry cleaning.

Cash or Check only, but they’re so nice, polite, and genuinely friendly, and no matter when you ask for your clothes back they always say OK. They fold everything right, speak English perfectly– no Asian lady attitude or weirdness to deal with here, and the clothes come back clean, if this were ebay feedback they’d get an A+++++++++++++++++
