this place has saved my ass so many nights when my frozen meat is still defrosting. it’s not amazingly great in quality, but it’s open late! my favorite is the original hoagy (which could use some work) and a double scoop of black walnut ice cream!

I love Hoagy House. Their food is delicious and really hits the spot when you’re in the mood for fastfood. They’re literally 4 blocks away from me and they deliver.

This place was just okay. The food was decent and the service wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad. This is mostly a pick up place, they had two bar stools to a counter that had not been cleaned off. The meal was a good price we ordered two meals that came complete with fries and a canned drink and it was less than 13 dollars. They could use some remodeling and a good thorough cleaning but over all it was what i expected. While i would not suggest this place to anyone, it was cool if you just stumbled upon it.

What is the deal with the bad reviews? I think the food is delicious!!! Of all the places I’ve had a gyro burger, I think theirs tastes the best. This was the first Italian Beef I have ever tried and I’d be disappointed if I had one anywhere else that wasn’t so light and delectable. Yes it was juicy. And their catfish is the best out of all the places I’ve ordered a fish dinner from too. They also have this sauce that tastes like a mix of ketchup and tangy Carolina style BBQ, and I am not really a ketchup person and would never put ketchup on chicken or fish, but their mystery sauce is delicious on both fish and chicken.

So weird that the place can be called Hoagy house and have god awful terrible hoagie’s made with cheap mystery meat… I’m never ordering from this place again! deserves negative 5 stars!

Located in a small little strip mall, I thought this place was an expansion of Home of the Hoagy on 111th in Morgan Park due to its name. Its not. Just another Chicago hole in the wall grease pit that sales wings, hot dogs, burgers, fries, etc. Food could’ve been a lot hotter. I got a hotdog w/​fries and a pop for $ 3 even. They used sliced jalapeños as opposed to a whole one. I like that. Puts that jalapeño fire into every bite, and I don’t have to worry about jalapeño juice squirting in my eye.
