Normal pricing for a liquor store, but the Walgreens a block away is cheaper (Although they don’t have as vast of a selection).
They have some food items here, but they’re pricy (again, there is a much cheaper Walgreens only a block away).

I resent Ben T calling my neighborhood «sketchy at best», but am willing to overlook it this once. This area is not what you think of when you hear Lincoln Park, but that’s why I like it.
That said, J & R is my local liquor store. The guys are always friendly. They usually have exactly what I need. My only complaint is that the wine selection isn’t very good. See, I was spoiled by a liquor store in Hyde Park that had rows and rows of wine. This made me happy. But J & R still gets the job done, even if I have to plan ahead and make an extra trip if I want a good bottle of vino.
