I had the pleasure to work with Dr. Spencer Vidulich for the last couple of years. He won me over with his patience, easy explanations, accessibility, follow up and recommendations. My eye health needed some follow up with another eye specialist and Dr. Vidulich referred me to another great eye specialist for my glaucoma. Overall very happy and will continue using this do ctor.

Dr. Spencer Vidulich is a true gem for this practice. He is so patient, so thorough, and so kind to his patients. If you have visited him before, he will give you an entire comparative analysis of what has changed and whether you need to act, i.e. need new glasses, or not, need a follow up with a different specialist, etc. I will most definitely refer business to this practice just because of his presence.
P. S. The ladies that work there need to be a bit more thorough especially when receiving incoming phone calls for booking appointments.

Wow! It was my first time to Pearle, and I was greeted by a plethora of professional and welcoming staff. My contact exam and eye glass exam was extremely efficient and to the point. I picked out my new glasses and they had them available less than an hour later!!! Definitely recommend. Lots of great selections to: Ray Bans, Gucci, Lacoste, Armani, etc.

We’ve been going here for years. They are always friendly and helpful. Gloria (the manager) and Mary have helped us out a lot. Great people make for a great experience.

I went to Pearle with my grandmother not too long ago and had an amazing experience. when we walked in we were greeted right away, Melissa assisted us, she asked her what she likes and pulled a frame right away and my grandmother loved it. We were able to pick them up the following week and she is nothing but happy with her glasses! Thank you Melissa and Pearle Vision staff for your excellent service!

Very Impressed with all staff and Dr. Gutierrez. Quick and efficient, modern and detail-​oriented. Dr. Gutierrez thorough and pleasant; staff knowledgeable with obvious customer service training.

UPDATE:
This just goes to show an apology goes a long way. I got several calls from an unknown number the same day of my incident but I totally ignored them because I didn’t recognized the number. It turns out it was the owner of the business and he wanted to make sure I got treatment and was willing to come see. Unfortunately, by then it was too late and I had already gone to the emergency room (Given that it was a sunday, 8pm and everything was closed). He was very understanding and it sounded like he truly was sorry about the situation. Thank you Spencer V.

Gloria, supervisor n” Melissa employee were awesome! I had an appt on 02/​01/​2015, knowing it was going to snow I just walked in on Saturday ⁰¹⁄₃₁ and they took me in with no problems knowing they were booked. Melissa explained everything with details regarding my new frames and Gloria, supervisor helped me select a pair that fit my face. It was close to closing time. They still took their time with me.
What I like that they were not rushing me and the other customer. They close at 5:30pm I didn’t leave til 6:30pm but still had another customer, which I’m assuming left at 7pm. Amazing!
Dr. Ryan Yaffe was very detail with my answers. I recommend him and location.

I recently moved to Chicago and needed a new optometrist. It took me more than a handful of contact lens training visits to get my contacts in my eyes. Each visit, employees graciously sat with me to help me. They were extremely courteous, helpful and made me feel comfortable as a «rookie» contact wearer.
The doctors were all extremely personable and knowledgeable throughout the exam and follow-​up visits.
This honestly is probably the best service I have received in a doctor’s office in a LONG time. I have nothing but great things to say about everyone who works here. Very nice, helpful and happy to answer any questions. There never was a sales pitch; everything was centered around me as the customer. I highly recommend this business!

Our family has been coming here for years. Always great service, excellent Doctors, most insurance accepted and great selection of eyewear in all price points.

Dr. Vidulich is excellent. All staff attentive and thorough. Prices comparable and reasonable for excellent products. They adjust my glasses for me all the time no charge because I bend them a lot. Been going here for many years. Very happy and highly recommend.

I have been going her for almost five years but recently my experience hasn’t been what I expected. I have gone back here several times to have my eyes re-​checked because it seems as though my prescription is wrong. They told me my eyesight had gotten better which I know it hadn’t. The older you get the worse you eyesight gets. I had to have my husband send me a picture of my last prescription with a different optometrist. They finally realized the original prescription was completely wrong and adjusted accordingly to the old prescription. As of today, the prescription is still wrong as I’m having a hard time seeing at a distance, I spoke with my doctor and he said they are a quick place to go but not very detailed.
Now, I have to pay out of pocket and get my eyes re-​checked today and get a new prescription, since I have already used my vision coverage for the year. I will not return to Pearle and will have my family go some place else. Very disappointed in them at this point. I’m giving two stars because of the customer service.

Almost twenty years ago I walked into this Pearle Vision Center and I’ve been having my glasses made here and my eyes examined ever since. I won’t go any place else. I rely on Sam Mehedinti to take care of me. He always selects my frames and I get nothing but compliments.
Everyone is so nice! They carry all the designer brands and their prices are comparable to other places. Occasionally they run specials and they accept most insurances.
I trust the doctors here and the staff and if you decide to try this Pearle, ask for Sam. He’ll take good care of you.

I’ve been coming to this office for many years. They have always got my prescription spot on and I have a tough one! The staff is always pleasent and they have a very nice selection of glasses. I will definitely be «seeing» them again!

The staff and service are excellent. Each time I walk in I am warmly greeted and promptly and efficiently helped.

AVOID THIS LOCATION!
I have been going here for years and every year it’s just some problem after another.
They messed up my prescription and then tried to make me pay for it when they had to re-​order it.
They never keep track of dates properly.
I went because I had redness on my eye. The doc gave me medicine and told me to come back in a week to see if the redness had cleared up… Low and behold I get a bill for BOTH times! No way. I could’ve told him the redness was cleared. I should never have been charged for it.

Stopped into Pearle today to buy a 2^nd pair of glasses because I was having so many problems with the pair I bought at See Eyewear. I went back to the See store twice, but they were unable to help me.
When I told Melissa about the problems I was experiencing, she called Elia over to assess the situation. Elia took one look at my glasses and knew exactly what to so. She spent a few minutes adjusting them and I couldn’t believe how much better I could see! After the adjustment, I went over my options and needs with Melissa and ended up buying a pair of prescription sunglasses instead.
I am so happy to have glasses that work as they should and I can’t wait to pick up my new prescription sunglasses!
