handled a shoe release in a orderly fashion //gave out free donuts for the people in line(including myself) //awesome selection of products as well. can’t beat the brands they bring to chicago, including their own brand of clothing for the store. we’ll be visiting more often for sure.

Went here for the first time like 4 years ago now every time I come to Chicago I make sure I stop here. Always has some exclusive fire. It’s not just ideal for Sneakerheads that don’t want to deal with the madness of Nike town during the day of a hit release but they’ve got mean threads. Even their own line is nice. Most boutiques have egh lines but theirs is kind of perfect. I live in Cincinnati and we don’t have a store that carries Head Porter! I like this spot. Check em out

Cool spot I checked out while in Chicago back in Sept ’14. Nice selection of different sneakers, streetwear, and accessories. Staff was extremely cool. Only con I have was trying to find it… there isn’t a huge sign outside for it. But once your able to track this place down, I would recommend stopping in…

I stopped in today too grab some gear. I was greeted by Emily. She was absolutely amazing! Her customer service was above and beyond. Emily even went out of her way too their office next door(mind you its Chicago so it was freezing) too grab my size. Thank you so much Emily! Also the gentleman at the register was so sweet.

Great store for people into Japanese and American streetwear. They’ve carried brands like Visvim, Original Fake, Mastermind Japan and Soph over the years(Their own brand and collabs are pretty boss too). If you’re lucky you can even occasionally catch some nice Nike Tier 0, Vans Vault, and other rare releases as well. The employees have great personalities as, well as personal style, and give great service. I always stop buy to shop here when I’m in Chicago. I appreciate stores like these in my hometown.

Great shoes, horrible service. My boyfriend and I visited the store last week and he asked one of the employees what his favorite shoes in the store were, the employee, who was sitting on the window ledge, continued to sit and didn’t get up to help us and replied, the ones on my feet, referencing his beat up Vans. The other employees seemed to care more about the people hanging out in the store, not customers interested in their shoes. We did end up buying shoes and we love them. But, I hope the employees learn how the treat customers and potential customers.

This store was the shit, it has all the stuff we Europeans can only dream about! And when we get it in Europe prices are double in comparison with this store. This store was still expensive if you put it next to footlocker or something but what do you expect, most of the shoes in here were special editions or really rare ones and in that case i don’t mind to spend 160 $ for a pair of nikes. Good job guys, keep it up!

probably one of my favorite shops in Chicago along with Jugrnaut. Very clean, professional, stylish & friendly. There are many shops popping up in & around Chicago &STA should be the model for those stores. Every saint that works there is very down to earth, feels like shopping from a friend. STA Has come through clutch so many times on sneaker release dates, not to mention the dope streetwear they sell as well as make. Awesome shop, can never go wrong stopping by here.

This is a dope store. They always have the hottest releases and caps/clothing is on point. However, I feel the staff can be a little more inviting. There were a few that were super friendly, but it seems like the guys that are there full time lack customer service. Step that up and your shop will be one of the premier sneaker spots in Chicago. Just my 2 cents, until then, FL it is.

Good urban shoe store. Prices are higher but fair. If you’re looking for shoes that you don’t see every day this is the best place in the city to find them.

this place could be a little hard to spot from the street, their sign is an «A» if you pass icream, you’ve gone too far! its just two doors down from iCream. This place is cool, we stopped in to buy a gift, they have some cool shoes that you wouldn’t normally see in dept stores. Keep in mind that they don’t accept Discover and they also don’t have gift receipts, the guy was nice enough to print out an extra receipt with the price crossed out. Thanks! Also, they don’t have boxes.

Fly. No other word for it but fly. Saint Alfred is one of those very rare streetwear shops – like Concept in Boston – that carries the most exceptional, limited, and rare designers and editions. Years back Vogue magazine did a story on Supreme – the NYC skateboard shop – and compared it to Chanel in how it has won the hearts and minds of its core customers and that same paradigm would apply to Saint Alfred, too. You’ll find your expected stuff from adidas, Stüssy, Nike, Diamond Supply, and the like here but also things like the ultra-lux Japanese streetwear brand Visvim. Their staff is friendly and know their products, too. The house Saint Alfred line is also really awesome: seriously understated but slick caps and tees. Fly.

Small shop, but packs a punch for the serious street wear head. Staff is friendly & easy to talk to. They carry ‘The Joneses’ line, which is a plus! They have exclusive items & from time to time do in stores with musical guests. This is a plus in my book!

I must say, St. Alfred didn’t disappoint this travelling sneakerhead. It was my first time in Chicago, but I knew St. Alfred was the ‘marquee’ kicks store in Chicago. None of that snooty NYC boutique attitude you’ll get at some joints(if you’ve been to Supreme, you’ll know what I mean). Just a bunch of cool and professional guys that know their craft. The store was busy and they wanted to help as many people as possible or we could have spent hours discussing the decline in leather quality and stitching from Jordan brand or how New Era QC needs serious overhaul. And luckily for me, I swung by their store during a big sale. There’s no better feeling that going through the store, picking up your purchases, walk up to the cashier ready to pay full price and they tell you there’s a steep discount on everything. Impressive range of kicks. And great selection of clothing — I think it was the first time I’ve see legit Bathing Ape outside of Busyworks. I think the most impressive part of St. Alfred’s is their store brands. Sick prints and incredibly slick fitteds. YES! A store that loves contrasting underbrims as much as I do. One of the finest sneaker and streetwear stores anywhere.
