This is a great local meeting and greeting place. The management team is community friendly and allowed The GAP Community to have House Committee meeting with available pastries, coffees, smoothies, and the hot cocoa with whip cream. Shalom

Really enjoyed the atmosphere! Warm, cozy and perfevt background jazz. Only four stars because they didn’t have any soup when I went.

Love it! So glad I stopped by. The place is right next to the library and right off a bus stop. Very cozy and relaxing inside. Right now there are Christmas decorations and jazz music playing in the background. I definitely prefer this place to Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts nearby. Will be bringing friends and family to visit in the future! Prices is great for the size. I got hot vanilla latte and it is delicious without adding sugar(and I usually put sugar in my drinks).

I have been to this place 3 times now. The lower level entrance makes it feel like a you are entering into a secret underground hideaway. Once you open the door, you walk into a very cozy, and intimate setting. The owner provides great and friendly customer service. If you LOVE tea and/or coffee this is the place for you! There is a wide variety of options available, they also have delicious pastries and sandwiches. I am not a big tea or coffee drinker, however, the atmosphere makes drinking tea or coffee so inviting. This is also just a nice place to go to read a book or spend time with a friend.

I was shocked to see the café that I remember helping to clean when it first started over a decade ago(under different management and name) to be open again. I stopped in this intimate gem in September to grab a quick bite to eat. Not only was the food and service amazing, but the overall ambience was so relaxing. Side Note: I can’t remember the name of the drink I had, but it had a flower in it. Maaaaan, that drink was so good, I considered eating the flower!

New coffee and sandwich place in Bronzeville next to the Martin Luther King library. Run by a mother and son team in a charming basement location. They did a great job rehabbing the space and it’s a great place to relax, get a drink, and a night to eat. Free wifi makes it a nice place to study or tinker away. Just ask for the wifi password.
