The Very Berry smoothie turned out to be 3 small spoon-fulls of fruit, a little milk and 90% soft serve ice cream. I don’t recommend it.

Located in Union Station in cohabitation with a Cinnabon and a Burrito Beach, I stopped by for a quick drink before catching a train. The selection of flavors was not very extensive, and I chose one called Acapulco Tres Leche. It was really good, tasting just like frozen horchata(rice milk). I don’t know if I would classify this as a smoothie though, because it had more the consistency and taste of a milkshake. And when the girl behind the counter tried to open the drawer to get my change, the drawer was stuck. Well she called the manager over, and he grabbed a metal spatula from the rack of a nearby grill and began pounding on the cash drawer until it opened. He then proceeded to put the utensil back on the rack. After seeing that, smoothies is the only thing I will ever be getting here.

«Part of Burrito Beach at Union Station. It used to be known as Fresh Choice smoothies. In their former name, they lived up to their title. The smoothies seemed to be all fruit. Now they might as well be a milk shake. They are loaded with either frozen yogurt or soft serve ice cream. Smoothies should have juice, ice, fruit and and yogurt, maybe sherbet or sorbet. I wish they would go back to their old formula/recipe. It was much better before they changed all the choices. Their old raspberry pineapple was amazing. Now if I want a milkshake I can go to the other side of the food court to McD’s.»
