He is a fantastic physician. I have been seeing therapists for 23 years, and he stands out as one of the best ones I have seen. He actually cares about how your surroundings are affecting your mental health, and speaks up on ideas of how to correct that. It took one meeting with him and I got more insight into my issues than I have in 23 years. None of this«how do you feel about that» cognitive therapy mumbo jumbo. He uses real world solutions and offers advice. Incredibly smart and extremely approachable. He’s not running this as a «money making business», he legitimately cares about his patients, his patients insurance, and will be there for his patients whenever they need him.

It takes a long hunt to find the right therapist, so while I understand the above Unilocaler’s review, my opinion of Dr. Swain is vastly different. He’s professional, incredible at what he does, compassionate and smart. Helped me get out of a rough patch, and I couldn’t thank him enough.

Find myself overcharged and underhelped… nice guy but I’d keep looking if I were you. He also keeps terrible records and is constantly asking me the same questions over and over… can’t even remember what medicines he’s given me, leaving me to guess and estimate my prescription history with him(forget about previous to him)…his records seem to consist of a few pieces of loose-leaf paper in a folder with notes scribbled on them. This is especially frustrating since his main method is basically to change amounts and types of prescriptions constantly, leaving me confused as to what medications were causing what effects.
