We reserved via u-haul online for a 9am pick-up on a Tuesday. We were late! They called US to confirm if we were still renting it and we said yes, but within the next hour & they were fine with it. We got there and while there were other customers in line for auto repair section, the woman helped us immediately for the u-haul rental. All were very nice & courteous, we had a pleasant experience renting with them. Wish they had a bigger truck option, but we did what we could with what we had. Rental process was swift, we moved our items for the day & returned the truck later that evening via dropbox. We would definitely rent with them again. They were so nice & pleasant to work with!

I made a reservation to pick up a truck here on Saturday. They are closed on Saturdays. So, obviously, I did not get my truck. This was… inconvenient. Rest assured, the truck they did not rent me was most likely in superb condition, clean and got great gas mileage. The person who was not there to help me probably would have gone above and beyond to make sure I was thrilled with my experience. So there’s that. To be fair, I was able to get a truck from another location so all was not lost. When I called to ask for an explanation, the response was«that never happens.» Which would have been a solid response. Except it did. To me. Which is why we were having the conversation. In the end they did apologize. Too little, too late, though, in my opinion.

I have to concur with Mindy. U-Haul«reservations» are a joke. I had to wait hours after my reservation time for my truck and I thought the guy in front of me in line(also truckless for hours) was gonna haul off and kill somebody, he was so frustrated. I think they think they’re the only game in town and thus don’t need to keep the promises they make to their customers. Hate to break it to them, but they’re not. Try Chicagoland Truck Rentals instead.
