Just received a haircut from Charles, well her clipped my ends. Exactly what I for! He was quick but attentive. And all the members there seem to be well versed with natural hair. They may be the group of people to save me from cutting all my natural hair off.

I would highly recommended this spot for someone looking for a while relaxing shop experience. I called the shop and was able to have an appointment with Rodney the same day. Rodney made sure to explain my current hair stage and also recommend products. The end result was great and I’m consistently receiving compliments.

I’ve been going to Why Knots from the beginning of baby twists to full locs now for almost 10yrs. Kenyatta is the best stylist and very knowledgeable about natural hair. I always receive compliments on my hair whether its freshly done or several weeks afterwards. Charles is also a wonderful stylist and barber. He grooms my face for the perfect shave and lining. Great people and environment. Its a one stop shop for me… hair and face… looking very debonair.
Why Knots is definitely my 2nd family.

I love why knot… my loc styles is Charles and he is the best. I hate that their are haters… child please lady grow up… if your hair look that bad you should have spoke up while you were in the shop. He does my hair great…

I have been going to Why Knot for several years now and I have not been disappointed. Rod and Kenyatta are fantastic and they take very good care of natural hair. I always get compliments when I get my hair done. Not expensive, Laid back environment like my fellow Unilocaler mentioned. Always a great experience!

Great experience.
Just chopped my relaxer off, not knowing how to manage the curls and the folks here were helpful and friendly. Charles did a great job with the fro. (Natural hair and locks only here).
Laid back environment, and no one complained about my natural hair texture (huge plus… unlike many other salons). Reasonably priced for a shaping.
I’ll be back.
