Great authentic Thai food! The Tom Yum soup is my favorite here. I tried the spring rolls, chicken satay and the basil chicken. All the food was fresh and delicious. The owner is so sweet and adorable. Would highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.

This is a great, authentic, small Thai food place. So full of flavor and generous servings. The place is pretty intimate so don’t expect to come with 12 people and get seating. My favorite Thai place in Chino Hills.

2 stars for parking. There is so many places to eat, and so little parking 5 stars for décor.(I really felt like a little bit of Thailand was there!) 4 stars for service(it should have been! We were the only ones there for lunch!) 4 stars for price(we ordered an a la carte menu item, and it was 7.99 for Mom and I to share) 2 stars for quality of food.(* This could have been unusual, but the food was black –as in, black from burnt grill) My mom loved the food taste, and overall, if she wanted to come back. I would come.

My husband and I just relocated here to chino hills a few months ago and were hoping to find a good Thai food restaurant. We found it here! Seriously best ever!

Service has gone down hill. Waitress is wearing inappropriate clothing. Slow slow slow. Only 3 tables full but she has time to text. It’s a joke now.

I came in here on a Thursday night and it wasn’t that crowded. I expected the food to take 15 to 20 minutes at most, but our food took over 35 minutes, and we only ordered four dishes. That being said, the food was pretty good. The pad kee Mao was delicious but a little salty and the BBQ combo was a priced well, and the portion was huge but the sauce was a little sweet for my taste. Overall, this wasn’t a bad thai place to eat, and the food was good but the wait time is very long.

Shrimp fried rice was good. The place is not crowded. Service is quick. The spring roll was crispy and delicious. The only thing I didn’t like was the Thai Tea– too sweet! Overall the place is ok. No TV and no bathroom I guess. Good for quick lunch break! Total amount: $ 17.76(shrimp fried rice, spring roll 4pcs, & thai tea)

So this review is just for the soup. I had came here when I was sick and wanted to pick up some soup to go. I ordered a coconut soup with chicken. The soup was delicious. It had a bit of spice and was fresh. My only complaint was that it was a tad bit pricey. I do plan on coming back again to try some of their other food too.

STAYAWAYFROMTHISRESTAURANT. WROSETHAIFOOD ever had in my life! This review is for delivery: must ordered 25 $ minimum +a 3 $ delivery charge. Called in for a delivery at 11:10 am: the guy said«we may not have Thai beef jerky». So I said oh then I don’t want to order then. Then he said let him check and said ok «we have it» Then he said the food will take 45minutes to an hour. So I said okay. And the food didn’t show up until 12:45pm. You do the math. Well the food were luck warm. So I check with the drive if I got every thing I ordered. And give him tips as well for delivery as well. Things I ordered: Thai beef jerky: 8.99 $ they are not even Thai beef jerky. They are chuck of beef that’s not sliced into strips and sun dried it like normal Thai beef jerky. These are chuck of beef that they just made from scratch today and added garlic then deep fried(pictured showed) Plus the amount is not worth 8.99 $such a rip off. Satay beef: 7.99 $ it’s tender and tasted real good but when I go to my second stick it tasted different so I look at what I was chewing that make it taste so different and found out it wasn’t cook and I check the other three sticks they weren’t cooked too so I microwave the rest(check pics for prove) Bbq chicken: 7.99 $ it’s was cold and look like it was yesterday’s. So I sniffed it before eating. It smelled a little weird but anyway I tasted it and yuck!!! Sourly in texture. REALLY! You serve spoil chicken to customers? And last but not least, lunch special pad bi kra praw with beef: 6.99 $. Comes with salad and special soup of the day. Hardly any beef, I didn’t even bother checking what soup. The total of this order was 36.55 and I give the driver 41 $ although the food was like 90 minutes to get here with a 12 minutes away from my house. With spoiled chicken, uncooked satay beef, not a real Thai beef jerky and of course, 7 slice of beef in pad bi kra praw. This place don’t even deserve 1 star. And it’s not funny to serve uncooked marinate meat and spoiled chicken I am pregnant a woman, these can really make me and my unborn sick. NOTORDERINGAGAINORGONNAVISITTHISPLACE.

1st time here. Been looking for a good thai place and we have found it. Pricing is fair and moat importantly the food is good. The Pineapple curry is so good. The chicken kabobs are yummy to. A must desert to end your experience is the mango sticky rice. Need I say more! Note: it’s small and can get very busy in a matter of minutes. Don’t be a bummer and lesson your review because of that. Family owned and run. Good food, service is Short and they really don’t have time to chit chat. Don’t be mad, they have a restaurant to run. Make your judgment on the food. Good luck.

We spent over an hour trying to decide on dinner. By this time we were SO hungry & this place was the least busiest on a Saturday night,. We were extremely happy with the service, the food & the ambiance. We seriously can’t wait to go back! We ordered some pork curry — it was creamy & full of flavor. That was probably my favorite dish. The chicken pad Thai was cooked perfectly with the freshest ingredients & my husband was obsessed with the broccoli beef. No complaints here. The owner was extremely friendly & helped up decide on what to order based on customer favorites. He engaged in conversation with us & let us know that all the artwork was from Thailand. We loved that part. Anyways, if you’re looking for good fresh Thai food, definitely check out this place.

I called to place an order for take out and asked if they had a pad see ew lunch special. The gentleman I spoke to just said«yea» and stayed quiet. Huh… I would assume that you’d want to inform your customers what your lunch specials include or not include. So I asked him if it came with soup or salad and he said«no, just your choice of meat». Doesn’t sound like much of a «special» to me. And then he added«it’s a small portion» and if I ordered through their app he would give me a side of soup. I told him that we wanted to pay when we got there since we had separate orders and he said that we could just order on the app and pay there. Not the case… I couldn’t proceed with my order unless I entered my card info. Not only did this guy lack customer service, he didn’t know how the app worked. We’ll just go next door to Flame Broiler. Thanks.

Ate at this Thai restaurant for the first time today and it was rather enjoyable! I’m giving this place four and a half stars because I thought the food was a little on the bland side. However, I am getting over a cold so that could be the reason! The prices were not too bag I paid $ 32 for two people and after we ate we were full so you get a good amount for what you pay for. I would eat here again and I re comment it to anyone who likes some good thai food. I love the décor of the restaurant it’s very beautiful and it’s a small place but you can always take out the food if you don’t want to eat in or if it is full.

I feel like quality and consistency has gone down over the years at Royal Thai. After my last experience here, I don’t think I will be dining at Royal Thai any longer. Food has not been consistent. Pad see ew — either too sweet or over cooked Pad Thai — same, super sweet Tom yum — last few times I got it, it wasn’t even sour and it tasted very watered down Service is lacking here as well. Horrible service. I would call for take out and it would infuriate me every time I spoke to the new girls and the guy is mean. Anyway, would not recommend.

I enjoyed my visit to Royal Thai. Good food quality for the price. The coconut soup was very good as was the chicken pad Thai. Friendly service, good food and fair prices, what’s not to like? I’ll be back.

Let’s start with the good. The food. I keep coming back because I love the food. The cashew chicken is my favorite and I love starting off with the soup. Now the bad. The service. I’ve been there several times on a weekend night and there has always only been one server. While tonight she tried the best she could it’s just too much for one person to do with a packed house. Unfortunately for us she was not very friendly either which has ultimately led me to decide not to return. I hope they read these reviews and improve their overall service.

First time here. Only one table occupied. Little nervous trying here. Ordered pineapple fried rice. Rice is a little too moist, and maybe too much powder so little more salty than usual. Had good flavor. Portion is ok. Will need to try other Thai places around this area to be able to compare. Quality/Taste: 3.5÷5 stars Portion: 3⁄5 Service: 4⁄5 Environment: 4⁄5 Overall: 3.5÷5 stars

I was craving Thai iced tea and ordered two to go. The service was really fast and the cashier was friendly. The drinks were very reasonably priced: $ 2.50 each. The tea itself was super sweet and strong. I waited until the ice melted so it was a bit less sweet. Overall, the tea was decent. I’ll have to try their actual food one day. There is a small parking lot shared with other businesses that seemed very packed during dinner time. However, there are other parking lots and spaces nearby because of all the businesses. The atmosphere of the restaurant looked very nice.
