High pressure sales tactics on the phone. I felt the salesman were unprofessional. They asked too many personal questions. Too pushy. I got a bad feeling about the company and didn’t pursue any further.

There is a lot of mixed information on Unilocal. It seems like a few different companies operate under similar names. I had a furnace replaced and relocated into my attic as well as all of my 39 year old ducting replaced. I also had insulation blown into my attic once all of the work was completed. Darren runs the show and his wife Valerie sets up the appointments and paperwork. The three things that put this experience into the 5 star rating. 1. Communication: Every call was promptly returned. Every email with questions was answered. Every text was respond to within an hour or two. 2. Timing. They worked with my schedule. On job days, they said they would be onsite at 7:30 and were ACTUALLY there at 7:30. I really hate waiting around all day for service windows. 3. The job-was-what-it-was… I didn’t feel any up sell, any surprise discoveries that cost money, or any reason to be skeptical. The job was finished with 2 eight hour work days, the house was left clean and the equipment functions well. PM or reply with any questions. This was a good experience.

The previous reviewers must have been reviewing a company with a similar name! I called, got a quote and date scheduled. They were on time, they came very close to matching my stucco to patch. I had a hard time finding someone to insulate from the outside through, the stucco and patch. Danny and Russ were quick, thorough and professional. I am very happy with their work!

It’s likely that the previous reviews are in response to So Cal *Home* Remodeling(a.k.a. «So Cal Home Remodels») and not this company«So Cal Remodeling». Here’s the reason. I spoke with a Steve Rogers at 855.899.1799 ext #320(most likely the same guy) to set up an appointment. He mentioned his company was called«So Cal Home Remodels» and referred me to their website . So apparently, the business also operates as «So Cal Home Remodeling» because that’s the logo and wording used throughout their website.(Why would you have a business and use two business names, I wonder. It only makes matters more confusing or maybe that’s the point as we have the example here with at least John B.‘s review.) Anyway, if you look up So Cal Remodeling, it’s a COMPLETELYDIFFERENT website. *I know nothing about So Cal Remodeling. *Three stars shows a middle of the road NEUTRAL rating because I am letting others know that there may have been some confusion with the previous reviews on which company they are referring to. *I don’t believe, based on my experience, that there is a problem with So Cal Remodeling, but I’ve also never interacted with them — only So Cal Home Remodeling /So Cal Remodels.

Absolute horrible company. Ended up not going with them; however, they continue to harass my family every week calling us inquiring about our project. Every week, new sales person. I have officially filed a complaint with the BBB and with the FTC.

In February, 2013 we contracted SoCalRemodeling to do energy efficient improvements in our home. We replaced our central air and heating system, wall insulation, replaced our water heater with a Bradford White Eco Defender System, and replaced lighting with new LED lights. Excellent workers, having 2 to 4 workers depending on the job for that day and done in a timely manner. l highly recommend them, they did an excellent job, very friendly, and neat.
