Baja Doors

Baja doors was recommended to me by a friend. I set up an appointment with Jaime. I made many changes during production and Jaime was very patient, and kind with all my questions/​changes. No hidden fees, and an EXCELLENT service was provided from start to finish. Needles to say, not only did we purchase custom front door, but also driveway gates with glass inserts, my home looks amazing!

We spend years looking for replacements for our large wooden double front doors with out success. Walking through our neighborhood we noticed a new door system on a recent remodel. We loved the doors and asked the owners where they got them and if they were happy with them and the company, they were ecstatic. So we called Baja doors and made an appointment. They came to our home and worked with us to incorporate our ideas of a «Mission Style» door. They were able to match the design we wanted exactly. Due to the upcoming holidays, they were very honest in letting us know it would take an extra few weeks for the manufacturing and delivery, and they were good to their word. We had our doors installed and they exceeded our expectations.
Later we discovered a small problem with the sill and they returned within a week to fix it and did a great job. The quality, design and customer service couldn’t have been better. We not only got beautiful doors but fabulous function as well. Our entry way now has a «wow» factor that we are absolutely thrilled with. We highly recommended Baja Doors, their product and their service.

We found these guys at a home show in Del Mar. We were impressed by the look of their doors. We requested a consultation and quote. Jaime came out and explained the process and let us know that it would take 6 weeks from order to install. This was a concern for us at the time because we had a large family gathering right around that time.
Jaime worked with us and talked to his boss, and they promised to have the door installed the Wednesday before the party.
They delivered on time and the door is even more beautiful than we imagined! There was a slight issue with the removable screen that we noticed after the install. They came out and told us it would be about 3 weeks to make the new one. This time they were not on time, but early.
There has not been a single person that has not complimented on our door’s look. Those who have opened the door have been impressed by the weight (which feels more secure).
We paid $ 3500 for our front door. It seemed like a lot until we compared to a door from Lowe’s. Our front door is 8+ feet tall. So a custom size door from Lowe’s would have actually cost about the same.
We got a higher quality door and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend them.

This company installed our wrought iron gates.

When they installed the gates they took out my entire sprinkler system (cut the wires while digging a post hole). No one reported they had done this and it took over 5 weeks to get them to actually show up at the house to repair it. BTW, they stood me up 3 – 4 times when they said they were coming out to fix it.
Next issue was rust on the gates, it seems that when they installed the gates they did not seal certain areas properly. They finally corrected this.
Now I have rust around the locks (screws that hold the locks in place) plus one of the locks is extremely hard to unlock. It will probably take weeks to get them out here to repair.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using
if you are going to do any type of home remodel. For the gates we did not and look what we got, shoddy follow-​up. For electrical & flooring we did and it is great.
Bottom line, we are never buying from Baja Doors again.
