Canada Steak Burger

I ordered something to go and I didn’t receive all of my food. A number 4 a number 9 and an order of onion rings which I paid for and never received. Frustrating because it’s after work and I’m starving. The french fries were soggy and starchy and you can get better tasting gyros in el cajon

Received my second delivery order from Canada Steak Burger in Chula Vista. I had remembered them from years ago, and appreciated the service and delicious food. Today, I was very impressed because my order actually arrived when they said it would. AND, the food was fabulous. Steak kabob was medium rare like I wanted it; ribs and rice delicious. I see some of the reviews are about slow service, however, this is not fast food. .. it is real food cooked well. I would only order the Greek food and fries from here, and the salads are always great. Thanks again.

They had slow service for not being busy by that I mean it was me and one other person there. Then 3 people came in after and all got their food before me. Then when I finally got my food the burger was burnt. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

their french fries are the best! we just recently discovered this place and enjoy their salads, burgers, and fries. we placed our last couple of orders through the eat24 app, and when we showed up to pick up the food, they couldn’t find our orders — i don’t know how the orders get handled through the app, and why the restaurant «can’t find» them when we show up at the pick-​up time (resulting in longer wait time), so i hope it’s something that can be addressed and fixed for future visits. despite all that, we still love the food!

Absolutely without a doubt the worst Philly cheese steak I have ever eaten in my entire life. There was hardly any meat on it I would say less than a third of a bun. And I want to know who puts Swiss cheese on a Philly, oh not to mention lettuce and tomatoes… Fries more then 15 would be nice, especially at the price you are charging.

The service is the worst. I call ahead for take out but I still have to wait once I get there no matter how long it’s been. They don’t start it until you show up.

I heard alot of great reviews about this place, so I had to experience this place for myself. First off this place off Telegraph canyon rd. Was so busy there was no place to park. So we decided to order to go, The reason for the low review is because the service and the portions are a 1 Star. Not only did the staff mix up my order and made me wait another 20min. When we received our order 1 of the 2 greek chicken salad had all the Chicken and the other had only 2 or 3 pieces. WTF#! Our Steakburger was way under cooked it was actually almost walking? The fries where also extremely soggy. Next time Jack in the Box! At least there they will either retake your order and refund your.

I have only eaten here twice .
My wife likes the food. my daughter and I world rather eat burittos a few doors down. .
Salad wad bland.
Fish and chips not good and meet chewy.
The stag did not seem welcoming but it was busy. just seemed rushed. so it is x worth trying but my opinion is that there v are betterv places..

It’s not bad. I tried the Philly Cheese steak and it was good. It was made kinda sloppy but what counts is the taste. I ordered it without onions but mine had onions in it, oh well. The seasoning was good not too overly salty. They had other dishes I’d like to try out next time. Definitely a place worth checkin’ out.

They took forever for getting my order, I ordered before 4 people and they got their meals before me… I mean how long does it take for a chicken and shrimp kabob with salad and fries??? That’s just lame!

Worst food ordering experience ever. After waiting an hour and 52 minutes for my order, I called the store. They informed me that the driver hadn’t even picked up the food yet. This is completely unprofessional to exceed the delivery time by almost an hour and not even give me a phone call to let me know. I will NOT order from here again.

We ordered lunch for the store Mossy Nissan Chula Vista, and used the EAT24 delivery service, ordered 10 steak sandwiches, fries and onion rings, the meat was tender, great fries and onion rings and the brought enough dip sauces too.
We will order again from Canada steak burger.

We decided on this place based on the Unilocal reviews and tried the food for ourselves. Nice location and busy for a sunday night. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak daily combo and the #1 combo. We were advised that the food would take about 15 minutes to be ready and it ended up being around 20. Luckily we weren’t that hungry so we waited patiently. Once our food came out we were pleased with the presentation of the meals. The fries were extra delicious! Everything else tasted great. Didn’t need to add anything to our food besides ketchup! Great go to spot if you’re unsure of what to eat. Will definitely come back to try something else!

This place is awesome, the portions are bountiful, their Gyros are satisfying, and their staff is more than friendly and helpful. The man in charge «Musa» was genuinely grateful for my visit and presence.
I could go on about this amazing experience but I will cut it short.
I definitely recommend this spot to everyone!

The only thing I dislike is the parking lot. There is never parking, as most of the places in the plaza are popular.

This place is getting more popular and busier because the food here is good!
I first learned about this place a couple of years ago and I heard they put gyro meat into their burgers. If you like burgers and gyro, then try that first! They also serve ribs, chicken sandwiches and sometimes they have different specials and food items. One time they offered pastrami fries and it was freakin delicious! The food quality is good however one negative thing I can say is that if you order the chicken breast sandwich, expect to wait a little longer for your food. I know it’s not their fault because it takes longer to cook chicken so I can’t blame them. If you’re trying to be healthy or love chicken, you must try it out. I don’t know how they get their chicken breast so juicy and tender!
I highly recommend this place if you like gyro and burgers. They have a good selection of food and there’s something for everyone. It’s next to Lolita’s so sometimes finding parking can be difficult because it’s not that big.

Had a good lunch experience here. Had a double cheese with gyro combo with a lemonade. Burger was really good, great flavor, was just a bit too well done for me. Condiments were fresh and I love that I got a ketchup bottle delivered with my order. Gyro meat was a real treat, especially on top of the burger. Fries, however were the real standout item. Crispy on the outside, soft and potatoey on the inside, just perfect. Plenty of them and well seasoned.
Service was very friendly, also took note to other interactions of staff to other patrons, very good customer service. Will be back to try a few other things — chicken and ribs, to name a few!

This is one of those places that local Unilocalers just might starting to flock to (particularly if in south San Diego area) for their affordable prices, large portions, and non-​pretentious good atmosphere and meals.
It’s apparently been here for a while, and has been a common favorite for local Chula Vistans for many years. It’s located just about a «9 iron away» from the 805 Telegraph Canyon exit (West Side of freeway) and next to a 7-​Eleven and the popular Lolita’s Taco shop.
The gyros sandwich is huge. Loaded with meat, onions, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce tightly wrapped in a warm pita bread. It’s big enough to split with a friend especially if you get it in the «combo with fries and drink».
The gyros and souvlaki combo platter is equally good. Gyros are moist, freshly cut from the vertical spit grill, and full of all the gyros flavor. The souvlaki was another surprise winner. Generous bite-​sized portions of cubed, marinated, and super tender beef on a skewer with veggies… it comes out piping hot from the charred grill. Really good. Lots of flavor. The gyros/​souvlaki combo platter is accompanied by a fresh salad with feta cheese as well as a large portion of warm, flavorful yellow rice.
Prices for each of these are very fair and rates high on my price-​to-​value ratio. The ambiance of the place is very simplistic. Simple tables and chairs, no wait service (order at cashier and pick up your food when your number is called) and there is a television in the upper corner. It’s not a hang-​out type of place (not even sure if they serve alcohol) which is all fine with me… I like places like this, you know… the kind of place where they focus on the food and friendly service. …and yes, friendly they were. The cashier checked in with us when refilling my drink several times and made sure we were happy with our meal. It genuinely felt like they appreciated our business.
I’ll definitely be back to slowly try more of their menu… like the Canada Steak Burger, Prime Rib special, Porterhouse special and much much more.
